Sure, you cry about 30K dead Iranians when exporting democracy fits your worldview, but have you even spared a thought for the extrajudicial killings of 200+ South Americans by your own government? You seem to be OK with openly flaunting the constitution by supporting an illegal war when it fits your narrative. It is laughable that you ignore such blatant anti-constitutional and immoral actions by your own government, yet are OK trashing the constitution when a democratic Iran is a possibility. How come conservatives only value certain kinds of life. Sadly, I'm not surprised.Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

How'd I do Dabrockster? Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. It’s obvious we get information from very different sources. Your liberal use of Fox News hyperlinks probably explains that.Originally posted by dabrockster View Post
Did you type that with an actual straight face. You are talking about Iran who refused to let the Atomic International Agency to inspect their facilities for decades.
Asking Gemini “Were international inspections for the JCPOA happening before trump withdrew?”
Yes, international inspections under the JCPOA were actively happening before the United States withdrew.[1, 2]
Prior to the U.S. withdrawal from the agreement, inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) carried out routine, continuous monitoring of declared nuclear sites in Iran. During this period, the IAEA verified that Iran was adhering to its nuclear-related commitments, including limits on uranium enrichment and centrifuge stockpiles. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

I see you couldn’t find anything from me directly so you resorted to a reverse post. Kudos for trying. And I think you could add a little more zing in it. Maybe find a poster I protect similar to you in protecting Frank. Then it would hit the mark..Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post

It’s all in how you ask the question.
My result when asking if Iran refused international inspections of the nuclear grade weapons.
And here are the sources. GASP. Not a single one is Fox..Before 2025: Iran did allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors into many of its declared nuclear facilities, but there were longstanding disputes over access to certain sites, monitoring equipment, and questions about past nuclear weapons-related research. Iran maintained its program was peaceful, while the IAEA repeatedly sought greater cooperation.
Since the 2025 conflict and afterward: Iran significantly restricted or suspended IAEA access to key nuclear facilities. Multiple reports state that inspectors were denied access to important enrichment sites and that the IAEA lost the ability to verify the status and location of Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpile. The IAEA has said it cannot assure that Iran’s nuclear program is exclusively peaceful without restored access.

Yeah you are completely missing my point. You are railing against people because they're not paying enough attention to the news that is important to you, then calling them hypocritical typical libs because of it. And you do the exact same thing. Extrajudicial killing of suspected drug runners is one of the worst things Trump's administration has done, yet you yawn about it and don't post anything. Are you a typical hypocritical conservative because you want regime change for similar killings?Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

Thanks. Funny that neither article mentioned when Iran stopped allowing access. I’ll bet was sometime after May 18, 2018. Why is that date important? Again, from Gemini:Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

When did Trump exit the JCPOA
President Donald Trump officially announced the United States' withdrawal from the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal) on May 8, 2018. During a White House address, he signed apresidential memorandum to cease U.S. participation and began the process of re-imposing economic sanctions on Iran. You can read the official announcement archived on the White House Archives. [1, 2, 3]
Oh, and I’ve never read HuffPo in my life. And I’ve always been a registered Independent, I think voting for the person is more important than party affiliation.

I don’t yawn about it nor comment because I do not even consider the killing of drug runners to that of the killing of protesters in Iran and even non protestors of Iran. None of us know for sure as Iran has completely shut down internet access to their people. Who does that unless they wish to hide their atrocities.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post

I am willing to concede the idea of non judicial authority and it to be not good but not the worst that a trump has ever done. You are comparing innocent people/citizens to criminals. That seems rather a dumb schtick and tiring. Similarly to the protestors here on immigration. Their actions have been out of the realm of civil disobedience which I do not justify and you do.
My opinion has never changed. You may think it is tiring but I will do me and you will do you. Which is have a differing opinion of what you think is ok and I do not. Soo.. Spare me this idea of being hypocritical.

Alleged criminals, that is. Alleged criminals who are executed prior to any evidence being presented in court. Are they criminals? Possible, for sure. Beyond a reasonable doubt?Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

Here's the thing Dabrockster. Setting aside the fact that state-sponsored murder of alleged international criminals without due process or under a war designation really sets off alarm bells for some who think the American constitution should stand for something, it is an individual opinion. You can be all for it and I can be incredulous that it doesn't set off alarm bells for you and others, but is your nonchalance hypocritical? Maybe? But I'm willing to set it aside as a difference of opinion. You have a habit of pulling the hypocritical trigger at the first response pushing back on your opinion. Many times there is no presumption of good faith.Originally posted by dabrockster View Post

I have in the past taken a more understanding stance but I grown annoyed by the double standard. Ergo, I take an ultra double standard as a method to point it out. You say that is what I do. I do it as a form to show it is done here all the time without a blink of an eye. Why is that? I think it is the biased opinion of such topics that allows it. The benefit of the doubt is available to those who demonstrate rationale thought and don’t constantly thrown shit on the wall as if this is some Twitter feed or own personal FB feed. Why is that? Probably because they would never resort to such levels in open public.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
