I get what you're saying about Trump. I think that if there are crimes committed there should be criminal charges. To be honest - I'm not sure if there have or haven't been criminal behaviors. There's obviously been some things done that at least approach it - if not crossing that line. But like I said - I haven't looked into it enough to say one way or the other. I am convinced, based on what I've heard from Democrats and their contempt for Trump, that if there is criminal behavior there will definitely be impeachment.

All that aside - are you honestly saying that Clinton was impeached for getting a blow job and not for lying under oath during a legal hearing regarding an alleged sexual assault? That's the kind of mental gymnastics that Trump fans are famous for.

This one seems to be a little more straight forward than the other ones. Piecing this together, it seems that Trump may have delayed and possibly threatened withdrawal of an aid package to the Ukraine unless they investigated Biden's son for corruption. If it's true, impeach him.

So, let me get this straight....you want to impeach a sitting president based on unproven allegations alone. You refer to some other scandal, but what are the provable charges for impeachment?

Look, I get that you find the man reprehensible, I do as well, but surely you can see what a horrible precedent it would set if you impeach someone on mere allegations alone.

It is more an expression of disappointment than a compliment, but you can take it however you want.

You are betraying your education by such asinine comments. Regardless of whether you think anyone has a history of being wrong, your response does nothing more than increase polarization, avoid the issue and cast a crass hue over the thread. Maybe this is what you want, and your history of histrionic and crude posts suggests so, but that doesn't mean you should post it. IF there is anything that the poitical dialog in this country needs it is less hyperbole and crudities, not more.

I will also add that here I think Wapiti is spot on. After spending a year or more claiming to possess, not just believe but actually possess, hard documentation of russian collusive involvement with the Trump Administration, and then showing an empty hand when Mueller releases his report, it may be that Schiff is not the best face to put on this most recent claim. But, rather than comment on this idea, i guess we could just accuse each of other of fellating whoever we are accused of supporting.

If by some crazy chance they are proven to be false, then I will happily withdraw my impeachment claim for this instance, and continue to believe he should be impeached for his unpresidential and unethical conduct in a myriad of other scandals. If you want a single example, fine, his 'unproven' pressure to try to get Mueller fired numerous times.

I prefer to wait until the evidence is collected. That said, this one seems pretty likely. It sounds exactly like something the master negotiator would do, thinking he was being clever but in reality being as transparent as one of Commando's "non-crass" comments. This one could be a problem for Trump. And the Dems should keep Schiff away from it.

We need someone in office who isn't such a jerk. I don't know that we need a change badly enough to hope for impeachment, and I certainly don't think we need to impeach any president without a very, very good reason. That's never good for the country.

I see two problems. First, we have a president who is obviously not qualified for the office, but who has been elected as fairly as any other. Second, the legitimate complaints against him are clouded by the hysterical and far-fetched, making it hard to sort out truth from paranoia.

Compounding the problem is the sad truth that the extremes of both parties have co-opted the center, leaving the Democrats with a raft of challengers who are just as crazy as the Exclaimer in Chief. There's not really a good alternative, so few people are excited about replacing him. I hate that we've come to this, and I don't see any way it ends well.
