DJT is getting popped for breaking the same law (First Degree Falsifying of Business Records) on 34 separate occasions.


If I'm the DA, I think the facts potentially support a 2nd Degree FBR (a misdemeanor): 1. Intent to defraud, 2. Makes/causes a false entry into the business records of an enterprise (among other acts that violate the same law).

First Degree FBR under NY law is the same crime as Second Degree FBR, only done with the intent to aid another crime or to conceal another crime. Any idea what that other crime would be? Is it simply the commission of the other instances of falsifying business records?

The speculation is that the other crime is a violation of NY campaign finance laws.

I'm not lawyer but Daniel's defamation case failed and it isn't unusual that the loser in those situations gets put on the hook for court and attorney fees.
But Trump is in trouble for criminal behaviors.

So Eric didn't out and out lie, but he framed it as vindication his unstable has been or automatically will be exonerated for criminal charges and that is horseshit.

What I find weird is that those who make a big deal out of Hunter profiting off his dad's fame and position (and he has) apparently see nothing wrong with the Trump boys making bank off of their dad's presidency, selling properties and charging fees (including charging for the privilege of dining with them). They're not raking it in because of their own skills. In fairness, the Trumps' grifts have always been very out in the open.

Arguably, non-presenting athletes would have to "prove" their biological sex at birth.

Females don't do genital inspections as part of sports physicals, and there's no evidence that turning your head and coughing is actually necessary either. The justification has always been that it doesn't cause much harm, and could catch the 0.8-4% with infantile inguinal hernias.

Personally, I think it's a dumb and invasive process that long ago should have been abandoned.
