So the story in some circles (given some credence by our own president), is that these bombs were completely fake. It was a hoax perpetrated by some left-wing person, in order to gin up anger right before the midterms. I find it hard to believe that if these are just fake bombs meant to affect the outcome of the election, that the perpetrator would go through that much internal detail. That's certainly not 'rational' in a peaceful society, but it doesn't take a crazy person to do that. I think what you're saying is that if your goal is perpetrate a hoax, it is only rational for it to resemble a bomb visually, and that since there were also some internal details that also resembled a bomb, it likely wasn't intended to be a hoax.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
