No, you could argue that things are becoming more intellectually honest. Pretty clear Moli has been a trump fan all along. No sense trying to hide it, right?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I love you, man. You are many things, but most of all you are consistent.

Rather than take credit (or accept blame) for the jump in gas prices, Trump will make good on his pledge during the campaign to invade and commandeer the oil fields. He wouldn't back down on a campaign promise, would he?
Trump: Excuse me. You're not stealing. Excuse me. You're not stealing anything. You're taking– we're reimbursing ourselves– at least, at a minimum, and I say more. We're taking back $1.5 trillion to reimburse ourselves.

Guilty as charged. And as noted a couple of days ago, it's pretty weird that I regard the presence of Javanka (two people with virtually no governmental experience, with total ignorance about foreign relations) as a good thing in the current administration. At least they're both smart and seem more mainstream and have a better grasp of foreign and domestic needs/issues than their boss and Steve Bannon.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostHater!

This. Trumpism is a descendant of Buchananism and there are several pieces of the Trump platform that I wholeheartedly agree with, however Trump is morally bankrupt and intellectually incompetent. As much as I hated pulling the lever for HRC, it was really the only option (yes, really, UT!). The Russian accusations are groundless (and dangerous) and ultimately serve only to deflect from HRC's campaign failure. Sad.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostDitto. I thought Trump was a person of low moral character, bereft of any true convictions, and the greatest self-promoter of my lifetime, long before there was a Russian issue. Recent events have done nothing to change that view. You're actually pretty funny when you aren't being a complete a-hole....so basically like 5% of the time. --Art Vandelay
Almost everything you post is snarky, smug, condescending, or just downright mean-spirited. --Jeffrey Lebowski

WTF you aren't a Trump hater?! I always thought you were smart.Originally posted by creekster View PostSO what is the take amongst the Trump haters about his realtionship with Russia now, after the Sryia strike? Is he not as cozy with Putin as it seemed or is this part of an elaborate ruse to deceive the masses into believing he opposes Putin when in fact he is working with him?

Sadly, you were mistaken.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostWTF you aren't a Trump hater?! I always thought you were smart.
I can't stand Trump. I did not vote for Trump. But I understand he won. I recognize he won. ANd I am planning to live in the present where he is the president and we have to deal with his decisions and conduct. "Trump hater" was really meant to be directed more towards the people who still have yard signs up for HIlary and who claim "Not my President" like it might matter. That sort of thing.PLesa excuse the tpyos.

The problem is, after a few days reports will trickle in that the strike appears to be less and less effective than thought and President Trump will be forced to make a decision - wholly driven by domestic political perception - escalate or face the perception of failure.
We have opened a box here, and we will be unable to shut it. Trump should have consulted the 2013 version of himself and left Syria alone."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

No, I dont think so. I didn't mean it that way. I obviously screwed the post up pretty badly, given the reaction. I was actually too lazy to go search so was hoping that someone here would post some links or something that would describe the effect this was having on that crowd.Originally posted by BlueK View PostDoes that really describe anyone here?PLesa excuse the tpyos.
