Actually poor Commando for first not being able to come up with anything better and then really poor JL for copying his lame response.

You intellectuals are really starting to let me down. That's a comeback the 14 year old who does my lawn would use. No, on second thought he wouldn't. He is wittier than that.

Good thing the president of the country is far above stooping to any level like that

LOL, if I am serving softballs then based on your performance hitting them, I would assume you only played on C0-ED teams (slowpitch).

Separate of his policies (which seem reckless at best) can you not see how Donald's tweeting abuse to those he doesn't like, lacking of core and basic diplomatic skills and complete dearth of having any ability to tolerate criticism, as being relevant to why so many us dislike this man, and why is derided by a lot of smart and moderate people on this board?
Even his criticisms of the press happen when negative stories are published about him. The press should always be a source of angst for any of our leaders. They sure were for Obama and Clinton.

He currently has a "R" next to his name. That's all that matters to some.

lol -- thanks for referring to me as an intellectual (I'll include myself since my name appears in this post). I really wasn't trying to rebut anything you had said, but just thought it was amusing to see sympathy projected toward Trump, the psychopath narcissist who is apparently devoid of empathy and self-awareness. He surely brings on any antagonization that comes his way-- even he must admit that.

Yikes. Your 14-yr-old lawn kid would cringe at that one.

I think the preferred term is "so-called intellectuals.' I could be wrong, though - "pseudo-intellectuals" is popular too.

Yeah, weird statement. There's clearly a liberal lean to most media, including news outlets. There are plenty of right wingers in there, but when it comes to the big dogs they tend to lean left more often than not. Obama took his share of criticism but it wasn't that bad...of course he also didn't do too many stupid things apart from Obamacare and his lack of managerial skills.
