That is my guess, but like I said he can't become a top advisor to a President now without getting labeled some pretty bad things.
I was having a bad day. I don't really welcome a revolution, but it would be difficult to measure the level of my antipathy I have for Donald Trump. I don't know why that it is. I know I have an abnormal fixation on the guy, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Someday you will be my age and the bad days come more often. Still far more good than bad.

I understand what you are saying. If liz Warren became President I will understand even more.

I believe with Trump or Warren I will still be living on the greatest country on earth

If you hate Trumpf, welcome the hate and civil war to come.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

A Washington district Judge stayed Trump's immigration order. I guess though in Washington he can make it for the whole country. CNN is giddy. One pundit said the people in the street brought the decision. I don't believe it. I would hate to think judges rule based on street protests

This is getting ridiculous. I mean, it's been somewhat entertaining for the first couple weeks but 4 years of this is going to wear everyone out. Is there anyway we can pass an amendment to have a one time presidential election in 2018? With Trump's approval ratings at the lowest for any president at this point, I'm starting to think it might be a possibility.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

What an absolute dope! Myself, most of my friends and family support most of his policies However, he is wearing real thin and it is getting harder and harder to overlook what an idiot he is Only the dems, media and lefties nuts make him tolerable to us, but it is getting harder and harder

The president doesn't get to write new law and rule by decree with an iron fist? What kind of country is this?

True. It is up to the courts to decide if it is new law. Some knowledyeable people like you have already decided, other knowledge able people disagree with you. Me, I don't know so I will be fine with the final court decision. Will you

                    • This week's Time cover story is about Bannon, and it has me very concerned. Among many other troubling things, it reports that Bannon is a big believer in the views espoused in a book,
The Fourth Turning by generational theorists William Strauss and Neil Howe. The book argues that American history can be described in a four-phase cycle, repeated again and again, in which successive generations have fallen into crisis, embraced institutions, rebelled against those institutions and forgotten the lessons of the past--which invites the next crisis. These cycles of roughly 80 years each took us from the revolution to the Civil War, and then to World War II, which Bannon might point out was taking shape 80 years ago. During the fourth turning of the phase, institutions are destroyed and rebuilt.
Bannon interviewed historian David Kaiser in connection with a movie Bannon was producing, Generation Zero, based on the book. Howe agreed with some of the premises of the movie...
And yet, he [Howe] told TIME, he was taken aback when Bannon began to argue that the current phase of history foreshadowed a massive new war. "I remember him saying, 'Well, look, you have the American revolution, and then you have the Civil War, which was bigger than the revolution. And you have the Second World War, which was bigger than the Civil War,'" Kaiser said. "He even wanted me to say that on camera, and I was not willing."

Howe, too, was struck by what he calls Bannon's "rather severe outlook on what our nation is going through." Bannon noted repeatedly on his radio show that "we're at war" with radical jihadis in places around the world. This is "a global existential war" that likely will become "a major shooting war in the Middle East again." War with China may also be looming, he has said. This conviction is central to the Breitbart mission, he explained in November 2015: "Our big belief, one of our central organizing principles at the site, is that we're at war."
Bannon seems to think that a war more devastating than WWII is inevitable, and even desirable. Bannon and Trump are playing on the fears of Trump's base, stoking the fires, even though an American is far more likely to die at the hands of a white supremacist than from a radical jihadist. But the white supremacists are a valuable fringe element of that base, so Bannon/Trump focus on radical jihadism.

                        Bannon is a scary dude.

John the Revelator has also given me some angst. Especially when I have heard religious people express they were looking forward to that time

Does anyone know if Beck has backed off his dire predictions

I also fear the far lefties in the streets and those who claim Judges move because of them

I also fear my golf game is going and will continue to go downhill

If you think that President Trump has done anything to this point that would prevent his re-election, then you are kidding yourself.

Probably true. My dad and in laws would probably still vote for him
