I think it’s pretty clear that:Originally posted by old_gregg View Postthe timeline just makes no sense to me. i am only a doctor of laws, but doesn't the risk of the use of the steroid signal there is some non insignificant danger moving forward? how did he end up in the hospital at all if this was going to be the result?
Trump didn’t “need” to be hospitalized and it wasn’t indicated for him to receive steroids.
He really just hung out on the hospital for “observation” and to make sure he wasn’t going to get in trouble quickly.
Definitely Trump is NOT out of the woods — I don’t know as much as Jarid obviously but I would think it’s 50:50 that he will go back into the hospital and this time may actually need hospital-level care.

i also can't believe the "just a precaution" rationale: for someone that is (a) obsessed with the image of strength, masculinity, health and vitality, and (b) very afraid of hospitals, there would have to be some overriding fear or urgency. it doesn't make sense, especially a month away from an election where he purportedly has a bunch of ground to make up.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostI think it’s pretty clear that:

This is what I don’t get. Important safety tip for your kids... don't admire the POTUS. You might get kicked out of class: https://mynorthwest.com/2203336/rant...student-trump/"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

This is one person that deserves it. It seems to be spreading through the White House like wildfire.

I know its a small thing in the grand scheme of Trumpworld, but his reversal and then re-reversal on covid relief package negotiations, all done by tweet in a matter of a few hours, is a perfect metaphor for how he has governed. Erratic, emotional, isolated, with no real plan on specific issues and no overarching strategy or principles to guide him generally. He governs by rage tweet from his toilet.
I am more than a little concerned about a Harris-Biden administration but it this is exhausting.

So yesterday right before the markets closed Trump told the House to not negotiate anymore on a stimulus/Covid bill until after the election. Markets obviously turned down sharply. Then last night he starts tweeting about his own stimulus bill, essentially stating negotiations again no more than 8 hours after calling off negotiations. The dude is unhinged. I hate the fact that I don’t know if it’s the drugs or not since this is normal course for him when he’s not on drugs.

The cynic in me thinks he's manipulating the markets to make a quick buck or to help his cronies make a quick buck. We have seen similarly mixed messages throughout this administration.Originally posted by Moliere View PostSo yesterday right before the markets closed Trump told the House to not negotiate anymore on a stimulus/Covid bill until after the election. I’d be surprised if this were the case given the penalties associated with doing something like this, but I’ve been surprised before by this president. Yesterday seemed more like a typical Trump fit throwing with an attempt to reconcile but on his terms.Originally posted by Solon View PostThe cynic in me thinks he's manipulating the markets to make a quick buck or to help his cronies make a quick buck. The STOCK Act is an Obama-era law I definitely support.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI’d be surprised if this were the case given the penalties associated with doing something like this, but I’ve been surprised before by this president.
