Speculate what you believe it could be. Something on the spectrum of "we've got your back Komrad!"?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

It has been a long time coming, but at this point I think I am ready to forgive him for Sarah Palin.

When Palin was introduced as the VP candidate most of us were disappointed, but SU and Mike Waters gushed about how wonderful she was. A masterful, stroke-of-genius pick by McCain!

Whoops. No SUwish on that one.

There is a lot more that has already gone public than what you stated in your post.

Exactly. McCain (and his bombing buddy Graham) are a train wreck. When Republican leadership (rightfully) urged President Clinton to use caution in the Kosovo conflict, Senator McCain was stepping on the gas arguing for a full scale invasion. Ever since, McCain has never seen a country where he wouldn't want to put US boots on the ground; the classic case of having a hammer and seeing everything as a nail. As if it was even possible, McCain is even more hot-headed, bellicose, and short-fused than President Trump. And the dude picked Sarah Palin as a running mate. Case closed.

I did prefer him over George W. Bush in the 2000 primary though since he wasn't nearly as bad as George W. Bush. So he's got that going for him.

I am sure he can find some way to turn that into an SUwish.

Well I don't read the Trump chronicles. What else has been going on relative to the communications between Flynn and Russia?

                    • I have of course been a fan of the service and sacrifice John McCain has made for the country. Never been a big fan of Senator McCain. He was a thorn in the side of President Bush and went over the top against Romney in the 2008 campaign.

He was the maverick. Maverick being a pain to the republican establishment and who loved him, the press. Of course when we got to the head to head match against President Obama, he wasn't loved so much anymore by the press.

Saw this posted on FB the other day and thought of you.

With one exception, anyone who starts a sentence with "The press is_________" or "The Media is_________" is about to say a stupid thing. The one exception is, "The Media is a diverse and extremely diffuse group of outlets with widely varying opinions, motivations, and biases, just as it has always been." Whether one is attacking it or defending it is almost irrelevant. "It" is not a thing. It is many things, none of which have ever fit comfortably into whatever version of "lügenpresse" people want to throw around today.

It might help if people would get back on board with using the plural verb form when speaking of "media," but that won't happen.

Not on point, but it reminds me of Carl Sandburg's observation: "The United States is, not are. The Civil War was fought over a verb."

There are many strands to the Trump/Russia connection. Flynn is only one of them.

                              Synthesize and summarize.

There is outrage but is it justified? Just being outrage because that is the flavor of the month doesn't make it justified.

That's why I don't do FB. Idiots making idiotic statments. There is enough on here to pick from without doing FB also. You folks who do both must be gluttons for punishment.
