Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Trump blinking so much that he picked up Tourettes.

lol, what an idiot. Could he not just die, already?
No one with any sense would have thought this would work. Frankly, I don't think there was any semblance of a coherent plan, and I suspect the business world thinks the same. That is really scary.

Trump could do a 180, claim victory and could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and his supporters would eat it up.Originally posted by myboynoah View Postlol, what an idiot. Could he not just die, already?

The warrior ethos kind of seems not so warrior-y to me tbh:

The changes, first reported by CBS News on Wednesday, cost several thousand dollars."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. So he had a goodnight's sleep and is back on the TV threatening to reimpose the global tariffs in the future. Also, China is denying there are any trade talks with the U.S., essentially calling Trump a liar. Russia bombarded Kiev overnight and Trump is "not happy" and responding, "Vladimir, STOP!" Hegseth is an ongoing embarrassment. And then the new Fox poll below shows his numbers on the economy are tanking.Originally posted by myboynoah View Postlol, what an idiot. Could it be that on Day 95 Trump as lost the narrative? These economic problems are going to dog him for months if not years. He has no strategy, and there is only so many times Bessent can go out there and sound normal.

So the best deal maker ever is reduced to begging to Putin on social media. It would be somewhat tolerable if he was able to feel shame and correct course, but he’s incapable of it.
what an inept presidency this is, failing at both home and abroad. May the actions of all the GOP enablers who made this man tolerable to half the country be forever held in awful remembrance."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Trump's Tarriff war may be the biggest own goal in modern American politics. Even with his disgusting treatment of Ukraine, he probably could have maintained support if he had just resisted the urge to drop a nuclear bomb on the global economy. Peter Navarro may be the stupidest advisor in presidential history. I mean Donald Trump is stupid but we all knew that. But Navarro supposedly has economics degrees from places like Harvard and taught economics at one point. Such an idiot.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post

This is a relief.
It's the economy, stupid. I predict a massive backlash in the 2025 mid-terms."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Unfreakingbelievable that Trump still listens to Navarro. Maybe feels some guilt that Navarro took a bullet for him and went to jail.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View Post

So stupid, Biden and D's had swung it so far left this country was set up for at least a 8 year run by a good Republican with both Congress and the Senate. Now we get two crazy years of Trump and I agree, I think they lose a lot of ground at the mid-terms.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThis is a relief.

I just hope that the AOC/Bernie wing of the Democratic party isn't elevated among the base in response to MAGA, like the reactionary GOP base was with Trump. But the silver lining on the bitter pill (I love me some mixed metaphors) of Trump's economic shenanigans is that it's not too far off of what Bernie has advocated for. I'm hopeful the country now recognizes the perils of a centrally planned economy.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostThis is a relief.
