No. The private sector and the public sector are not at all the same. You know that (or your should). For one, there are federal laws at issue here that have almost certainly been violated. I assume you wouldn't be so ho-hum about the same thing in the private sector.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I wonder how Shaka and the others would feel about Biden sending Soros to do similar activities with the DoD? We know there is a tremendous amount of waste and fraud there. They can’t even pass an audit after multiple tries.

Biden or Soros? Just let Elon Musk loose in there to clean it up.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Well, who can keep up with Russian and Chinese bots and MAGA zealots spuing lies on the internet? Why are we waiting? Time to take that chainsaw to DOD.

Also, the argument isn't about crazy Trump promises (Mar-A-Gaza made me LOL). He's always said stupid shit. The argument is he does not care at all about lying directly to the American public's face. People used to pay attention to that sort of thing.
So the big revelation here is that Trump is willing to lie? That’s hilarious.

              • Russians/Chinese/MAGA zealots are flooding the zone with this type of outright lie and/or disinformation with Elon Musk amplifying it.

                • Another example. Dumbo Boebert herself had a subscription to Politico while lambasting AID.

                    • Not a surprise at all:

While his announcement looked formal and thought-out — he read the plan from a sheet of paper — his administration had not done even the most basic planning to examine the feasibility of the idea, according to four people with knowledge of the discussions, who were not authorized to speak publicly.
He spouts this off at a formal press conference with Netanyahu without anyone else planning for this. And then all the sanewashing begins from the GOP, Israel drafts up contingency plans for 'resettlement', and then.....nothing will happen. On to the next TV season scandal.

                      • I think MBN may have referenced this above, but I want to give a shout out for a recent essay by Ezra Klein. It is called "Don't Believe Him" and the premise is that Trump's avalanche of executive orders is meant to overwhelm the opposition (we have discussed this), but he is also framing himself as a powerful leader in full control of the US government, well beyond the normal levels of executive power. And he wants you to accept that and go along with it. But much of what he is doing is unconstitutional and will be overturned or blocked as long as people fight it head on.

It is only 14 minutes. Highly recommended. You can get it on any podcast service. Here is a transcript:

Sounds like you dont know what USAID does. If you did , you simply wouldn't agree with this

Who legally has the power of the purse ?

Interesting you want to make Education worse next

Oooooh, I'm the face of your ire. Sweeeeet!

I've never looked at Musk as a conservative. Musk realized the left had gone looney tunes and he started to evolve towards what is now the center.

I didn't say I believed it. I'm open to the idea and want to see the justification.

Your statement makes zero sense. I know what they do and am happy that the corrupt are being exposed and shown the door.
