The descendants of Cubans who fled Castro run the state. They are famously anti-Castro, anti-Communist. It's like going to Utah in the general election and saying you're an atheist or even atheism is not so bad.

    Well done, democrats.

Buttiegeg has my vote. I think he's the most electable of anyone, though none of these people has any chance of beating the Baby Boomers.

You think Sanders is more pro Russia than Trump? That’s a dumb take man. I’m not talking about the USSR, I’m considering Putin’s Russia.

Bloomberg took out a full page ad in the local paper here. It probably has a local circulation of 2000, if that. I was impressed.

Here in South Carolina, Tom Steyer must be dropping tens of millions of dollars on ads. He's on every YouTube/facebook video, TV channel, mailbox, and radio that you interact with. Buttiegeg has some quality ads that seek to separate him from the marketing of others. The Bernie TV spots border on the cult of personality, and focus on legalizing marijuana and expunging records. Almost everyone in his ads is African-American or under age 30.

I bet Biden still wins here.

    Russia (not USSR), possibly:

American conservatives who find themselves identifying with Putin’s regime refuse to see the country for what it actually is.

Camus wrote The Plague as metaphor for fascism. I was thinking that if current events were a novel the Coronavirus would be interpreted as a metaphor for the socialism virus infecting America. Even coming from China.

    Anderson Cooper interview with Bernie.
