Haha. Look at you flailing about, trying to find some validation for your hysteria.

Everything about the story has been validated by the Washington Post.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...shington-post/

They heard about the upside down flag when it happened and immediately sent out a reporter to investigate, ultimately deciding there was no evidence it had to do with January 6 and was therefore not worth reporting.

The incident documented by reporter Robert Barnes, who covered the Supreme Court for The Post for 17 years and retired last year, offers fresh details about the raising of the flag and the first account of comments about it by the justice’s wife.

The Post decided not to report on the episode at the time because the flag-raising appeared to be the work of Martha-Ann Alito, rather than the justice, and connected to a dispute with her neighbors, a Post spokeswoman said. It was not clear then that the argument was rooted in politics, the spokeswoman said.
On Jan. 20, 2021 — the day of Biden’s inauguration, which the Alitos did not attend — Barnes went to their home to follow up on the tip about the flag. He encountered the couple coming out of the house. Martha-Ann Alito was visibly upset by his presence, demanding that he “get off my property.”

As he described the information he was seeking, she yelled, “It’s an international signal of distress!”

Alito intervened and directed his wife into a car parked in their driveway, where they had been headed on their way out of the neighborhood. The justice denied the flag was hung upside down as a political protest, saying it stemmed from a neighborhood dispute and indicating that his wife had raised it.

Martha-Ann Alito then got out of the car and shouted in apparent reference to the neighbors: “Ask them what they did!” She said yard signs about the couple had been placed in the neighborhood. After getting back in the car, she exited again and then brought out from their residence a novelty flag, the type that would typically decorate a garden. She hoisted it up the flagpole. “There! Is that better?” she yelled.
Alito responded to WaPo later that week:

Later that week, Samuel Alito issued a statement to The Post in response to written questions about whether it was his decision to fly the flag and whether it was flown to protest the election results, reflect concern about the state of the country or something else.

“I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag,” he said, using wording almost identical to the statement provided to the Times last week. “It was placed by Mrs. Alito solely in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs.”

Meh. You’re misreading that tweet. There are a ton of people who genuinely hate Donald Trump that think that this conviction and the other indictments at a minimum help Donald Trump with his base and at worst introduce some chaos that may have serious and unknown consequences for our future. He’s talking about the latter.

          He also said this today:

Either way, we will now discover what unsightly horrors are preparing to scuttle out of a Pandora’s box that, once opened, can never be shut again. And Republicans head into 2024 with the possibility of fumbling a presidential election that would have been easily won by nearly anyone not named Donald Trump.

This comment isn't on the guilt of DJT. It's on the attack of the legitimacy of SCOTUS transparently orchestrated by DNC operatives. Trump is a sleezeball who shouldnt be anywhere near elected office. But the tactics used were novel and in part politically motivated and could be potentially vulnerable on appeal. The possibility of an appeal, and having it overturned, is genuine fear. Hence the sudden onslaught of crisis of SCOTUS ethics pieces out there. There is no conspiracy. The motives aren't hidden.

Why? It's all but confirmed now that Trump will be elected.

Yeah, I caught that. That's horseshit. It also plays into the Trump Martyrdom narrative.

I don't think there is a partisan witchhunt or carefully crafted multi agency and government level conspiracy seeking to attack Trump.

The truth is, this is who Trump is. He's criminal and incapable of experiencing shame. He got himself in trouble. Not George Soros sitting a cave somewhere mind-controlling minions.

Last time I looked Soros didn't take Thomas on lavish vacations. And gift him immense wealth, that was someone else.

There isn't an effort afloat to manipulate the court so they don't rule in favor of Trump; rather there is genuine concern politics will sway certain justices ability to consider these things objectively.

Yeah, there was a mid-day dip but it didn't seem to have anything to do with the verdict. Historically, the market hates uncertainty and chaos. Apparently this didn't register much. I was wrong!

I don't think this moves the needle much with the average American, most of whom are not overly political. To the third of the country who are hardcore maga or avid viewers of Fox it's a big deal. To the third on the left and independents it is not difficult at all to imagine the evidence being there for Trump illegally falsifying business records.

So if you fly your flag the right way up then does that make you an American commie.
