I am listening to Christie's press conference. We will see what comes out when the people who are being canned speak their mind. I will hold judgement on Christie until I hear them speak.

      Obama's record.

      Bengazi - no one fired

      IRS - no one fired

Gun Smuggling - no one fired

ACA botched roll out - no one fired

I know I know. It looks like I am saying Christie seems to be stand up and Obama not. That makes me a racist.

Traffic jams when you're already late.

Not that it really matters who the GOP nominee is, but it is only 2014 and the GOP is already sowing the seeds of discontent from within. Will this be the third straight election in which there isn't an internal consensus about the leading GOP candidate for President? What is it about Republicans that make them dislike most of their own leaders?

Hillary should make this competitive and skip Iowa and New Hampshire, just for fun.

I was never anti-gay but I endeavored to support the tribe in its support of its culturally archaic practices. However, in order to reconcile my libertarian principles which are more important than cultural practices, in order to argue for expansion and protection of civil liberties, once the majority began to speak it was necessary to support the expansion of this liberty in order to continue consistency of supporting other personal liberties, such as the right to bear arms, the right to free speech, the right to own property, and other important liberties. I remain a minimalist in terms of government regulation, and desire as much separation of monetary from fiscal policy as possible.

It will cause me eight years of ulcers if Hillary is elected. Unlike the famous celebrities, I do not financially have the option of relocating upon her election, but if enabled, I would gladly depart until her termination of her Presidency. But then even after her stepping down, we will have to hear her comment upon every big event. It is truly an awful thought to have Hillary elected. Hillary is proof that God does not exist. It's a dog eat dog world out there.

Please don't do this. There's room on the gay marriage bandwagon for everyone.

Surely you understand that I can oppose the Judges method of arriving at a decision without disagreeing with the result of the opinion, right? Let me give you one on the other side of the isle to help you out. I wholly agree with the result in Citizen's United, however, I think the court abused its power in arriving at such a result because they failed to use judicial restraint by only settling the controversy that was before them. Instead they wanted to answer the larger question and asked the parties to brief an issue that wasn't really initially raised by either party. I like the result but found the method abhorrent. The same holds true in Judge Shelby's case.

I am shocked that someone I have known these many years and known to be very thoughtful would make such a simplistic statement. I know for a fact I think the judge was out of line taking on himself the power to make such a decision.

I also know I have come to the point I don't give a shit whether gays marry or not. So opposing the judge does not equal opposing gay marriage. There still is a stance called neutral in this world.

I am totally opposed to people calling those who disagree with them names. I am in hopes you haven't come to your stance because of the pressure that comes from the "bright and enlightened" class. As a whole they aren't as bright or enlightened as they think.

So you still don't really believe in gay rights, but you are playing along out of concern for other rights?

And what does this have to do with fiscal policy?

If you say so. You split a fine hair by arguing you don't like the means to the end, but you like the end. Politically most pragmatists relish results as opposed to the process.
