#BobBergdahl grew his stupid Jethro Tull beard in Afghan sympathy. Suggest shave it for soliders who died searching for deserter son.

She has the look of a perfect gal driving a hybrid Lexus SUV with a "Blue Gal in a Red State!" bumper sticker. He looks like the one batshit crazy fellow who moves into a cheap SE Idaho small mormon town just to buy some crap house for $60,000. They come and go...they come and go-OH!

When I lived in the 208 the fly fishing on the Little/Big Wood river was awesome until Bruce Willis and his friends showed up. BTW, hasn't he sold that place yet? Apparently not: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/15...22944824_zpid/

I understand the "never leave a man behind" mantra (sort of) but we must have know the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. To know servicmen died despite intel that he deserted sickens me (yes I'm jumping to that conclusion based upon circumstantial but mounting evidence).

If it is proven that he deserted with intentions of joining the cause I hope an interogator goes all Rust Cohle and whispers in his ear "If you have the chance at some point you may want to think about killing yourself".

A place without a name somewhat near the place Grape calls home. I spent most of my teenage years killing rabbits and coyotes.

It's all good now... The white house an issued an apology.

WH apologizes to Senate intel chief for prisoner swap secret

The White House has apologized to Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) for failing to alert her in advance of a decision to release Taliban commanders from Guantanamo Bay.

Feinstein told reporters that she received a call from Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken on Monday evening apologizing for what the administration is calling an “oversight.”

“I had a call from the White House last night, from Tony Blinken, apologizing for it,” she said.
“He apologized and said it was an oversight,” she added.

Feinstein also said leaders of the House and Senate Intelligence panels were almost unanimously against a prisoner trade when it came up in 2011.
                  [...]

However, the white house was kind enough to let Harry Reid know in advance...

                  [...]
The National Defense Authorization Act required the administration to alert Congress of the pending release of prisoners from Guantanamo at least 30 days in advance.

“The notification to us is important and I think that it would have been a much better thing to do because you do try to work together,” Feinstein said.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Tuesday he was notified by the administration of the prisoner swap immediately before it happened.

For all we know, Bergdahl may struggle with mental illness.

I don't think people should question him till facts are clarified.

Don't you think it's a little crazy to mock these parents who suffered while their son was captive for 5 years?

Furthermore, even it he did desert, does that mean he should never be forgiven?

Lastly, I don't think there is any doubt that the 5 released Taliban are emitting GPS tracking signals--probably implanted in their GI tract.
