      A few things.

Yes, the accent offended me much more than any of the immodest clothes or the modestifications. (Ha! Trademark that, Mormons!)

In the write up, Sister Nunez, spells the word "choose" when she clearly meant "chose." So, it's not just accent.

The sophomore with the tattoo on below her collarbone clearly had that edited out as well as the modestification was below where the ink was.

I can't imagine a single thought I ever had as a 15 year old that I would want to have memorialized on my body for the rest of my life. I'm still working on all of the invisible scars from being 15.
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

            Nothing wrong with this? Really?
I agree that it may not be worth fighting over but it sounds like this sort of crap has been going on at the school all year. "I support the Wasatch dress code" pants?
So not fight-worthy but pretty absurd. And a little creepy.

It looks like the two girls in the denim jacket pics aren't even the same girl.

The really bizarre thing about this (ok, ONE of the bizarre things) is the direction we are going (we = lds culture). There was a period in the 60-70's that it was customary for senior yearbook photos to put all of the guys in a tux or suit and put all of the girls in the same dress. Typically, that dress was strapless and exposed the shoulders. I swear they did that for my HS (need to dig out the yearbook when I get home tonight). I have seen it in many old Utah yearbooks. Here is a random example I found on the web (see below).

The rate we are going, I am guessing we will be wearing burkas in about 10 years.

This is my old high school (sort of - the actual old one is now a pile of rubble). Two observations. First, the dress code wasn't this strict when I was there. Second, does the Utah accent of the beat reporter drive anybody else nuts?
                        Not bothered by the accent.

I guess you didn't watch the video? The girls are upset because some girls' pictures were altered while others were not. The picture you reference is an example of two girls wearing nearly the exact same clothes, and only one had her photo altered.

They did this for my high school senior pics. Everyone put on a top either a tux or one of those strapless dress things. In fact, there is a picture of a guy wearing one of the dress tops. Of course, this wasn't Utah.
