Yeah, I know folks that have done the same thing... They have returned to Texas to make sure their child is born in the motherland.

I used to respond, "And pass up a chance to have a native Utahn? Are you crazy?"

Or you could work for a California high tech remotely from Texas, at silicon valley rates... pay no state income taxes! I know someone that does that. Very cool dude.

Instead of slogging through all 3.1 miles of a typical 5K, "fellow underachievers" will gather in Boerne May 5 to run what amounts to 0.31 miles, or 1,640.42 feet.

That's pretty funny, including the medical tent and the "O.5K" sticker to put on one's car.

                  Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

So Tesla is building their new factory in Texas. HP and Oracle are moving their headquarters to Texas. Is there a “silicon” nickname we can give to Texas?

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. Sure, but the Texas version refers to the fake assets on inbred strippers.

It’s been the Silicone Prairie since the 80s. Don’t you guys watch HACF? (You should. Very underrated.)

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body.
