Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

People bagged on Nate Silver last time around as well and did so all the way up to the election, and in the end, he proved to be incredibly accurate.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post

Don't know, but many have pointed out here that the past doesn't seem to matter. We're in a whole new ball game this time around.Originally posted by creekster View PostBut didn't he miss on trump in the primaries?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

The reason Trump and his supporters are being compared to the Nazis is that there are real parallels between the 2.Originally posted by Commando View PostSo I'm sure you've all seen this bit of stupidity floating around from none other than Orange Man's progeny:
So how many Syrian refugees have gone radical and killed somebody? Zero? Got it. I think our bigger Syrian refugee problem is that some Americans don't feel compelled to help their fellow man because they've let a twisted version of patriotism get in the way of their humanity.
For those who think you may agree with Don Jr., this is why you are wrong and the rest of us think it's a despicable, intellectually reprehensible argument:

Yes, my child! Just as a single poisonous mushrooms can kill a whole family, so a solitary Jew can destroy a whole village, a whole city, even an entire Volk [nation].

The Trump's and their campaign are totally out of sink with the American public on this refugee thing. We are a generous nation, even if a lot of the world doesn't think so.
I will bet if there were a poll asking, if you let in 100,000 refugees and 1 kills 50 Americans, isn't the trade off worth it? Most Americans would say while terrible , it is worth the price because our values are worth that cost.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/20/politi...peoples-money/"It's called OPM. I do it all the time in business. It's called other people's money," Trump said. "There's nothing like doing things with other people's money because it takes the risk -- you get a good chunk out of it and it takes the risk."

It is obvious that CNN does not understand our economic system. At least there is some work, creativity, etc. involved. If the party does lousy with the money used, in most cases you won't be able to raise other people's money again.Originally posted by Maximus View Post
Of course there is the taking of other people's money without taking any risk, any work or any creativity at all. Getting $250,000-$400,000 per speach.
Social Security is a perfect example of how the dems want government to control everything because they are smarter than the public in general. They killed Bush's proposal to let us put some of our SS money in the market. Does anyone realize the difference between what SS would have grown at if Bush's proposal got though. Dems attitude is the market is too risky for the dumb American populace.
Trump has plenty of warts and they are sickening ones. While a silly attack, I do understand why. Pres. Obama and the press laid it on good to poor old Mitt and he went around acting as if he was ashamed he had made so much money.

Trump has already clearly said he will not touch social security. If that's your concern, Trump is only going to continue the problem. He has also promised much of the same free perks the dems are. He has a history of taking things without paying for it, and all indications are he will do the same as president. Paying back borrowed money isn't required, and neither is paying those who have worked for him what they were promised in a contract. He is complete scum who to gain power is speaking racist code to the those people like the scumbag who left that voicemail so they'll rally and vote for him.Originally posted by byu71 View Post

Do you have an estimate of how many people who will vote for Trump are racists? Let's say he gets 40% of the total vote, what percent of the 40 is deplorable?
