The irony in the Cruz failure and the Trump victory is that Cruz has, for many years, set himself up as the Washington outsider. Everything he's done in congress was focused on him playing off of the anger of the GOP voters and getting the nomination that way while the establishment nominees get roasted. In the end, Trump out Cruzed Cruz as Trump became even moreso a Washington outsider and obliterated Cruz.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post
