For me, it's only one guy at work. No one else I know about. If anything, this election seems to be about class structure more than we've seen in the past. It's starting to feel kind of third-worldish to me."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

True. The best realistic plan at this point is to give Hillary four years after which her ineptitude will destroy her chances at a second term (ala HW) and then Paul Ryan or Ben Sasse come in and revive the Republican Party, which will be no small feat after Trump is done with it.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostCruz beating Trump is like your chemotherapy giving you a new kind of cancer."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. Irony?Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostCruz beating Trump is like your chemotherapy giving you a new kind of cancer.
Perhaps instead of risking complications from chemotherapy, the GOP should take a surgical approach to removing the cancer from within. If Hillary wins, it could allow the GOP to work behind the scenes to remove open voting nominations, which I think did a lot to help Trump to get the lead he has now.Originally posted by Moliere View PostTrue. As to the more malignant cancer, I don't know how you remove demagogues and their influence they've had on the GOP for decades now. That process might take a lot longer. But it could be sped up if the GOP spends some extended time in the desert. Maybe even 2 Hillary terms..."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Rubio might pull it off on the home court... he leads Trump by 25 points in early voting:Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostFlorida appears to be tightening. Monmouth just released a poll (the only public poll in Florida in March?) that shows Rubio down 8 to Trump. An anti-Trump group claimed over the weekend that they have polling that shows Rubio only down 5.

I guess he didn't get byu71's memo on how to appear intelligent.Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto condemned Republican front-runner Donald Trump’s rhetoric, likening it to language from Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
Peña Nieto told Mexico City newspaper Excelsior that Trump’s “strident expressions” put forth “very simple solutions.” That kind of rhetoric, he said, has led to “very fateful scenes in the history of humanity.”"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Hillary won't make it to the second term. She's not a great candidate and will be an ineffective president. She shouldn't even be winning this election, but she will thanks to Trump and his populist movement. That populist movement will be gone in 4 years and a decent, establishment republican will run against her and win big. The GOP is dumb to squander this election but they won't squander the next...and they better not lose to Hillary again in 4 years or else they'll be going against Elizabeth Warren, who is a much better candidate and will likely win in 2024 barring an implosion between now and then.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostMaybe even 2 Hillary terms..."Discipleship is not a spectator sport.
