Driving home this evening, I listened to the post-debate interviews with the candidates by CNN. Trump's interviewer mentioned that Romney had raised again the issue of Trump's tax returns and asked when Trump would release his return. Per usual, Trump's response began with an ad hominem attack, and then when pressed for a release date, Trump said he couldn't until the IRS audit was completed (B.S.). He went on to say he couldn't understand why he's audited every year (Hint: perhaps returns that are 1,000 pages long, as Trump says his are, are more likely to be audited), but speculated it might be "because of religion." The interviewer sounded VERY surprised, and asked, "Religion?" He answered, "Well, I'm a great Christian and we know the IRS goes after religious groups." Other than Donald, apparently, has anyone on the planet ever described Trump as a great Christian?Comment
