Wait, I take that back. I don't need to hear why. It was a rhetorical question.

    Ouch.
He has a few fewer negatives than Hillary.

Experience is either positive, neutral or negative.

Public position? Yes, but that alone is not a positive. Did the person succeed in that position? Or that person fail miserably?

Hillary had two positions and failed. So her experience is actually a negative, not neutral or a positive.

Trump has held none, so it is neutral.

Thus, Trump is woefully unqualified, but in terms of qualifications and character, his better than Hillary who sinks to the bottom.

One fun thing is, if the GOP holds court in the Senate, questionable, and in the House, we could have another impeachment trial. It will be fun learning about the arcane Constitutional aspects of those procedures. So there is an upside. Both Clintons can entertain impeachments. But Hillary lacks the charm to slide by.

Don't forget Trump has no problem with money... Hillary said she had problems making ends after Bill lost his job:

"We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt," Clinton told Sawyer, referring to the hefty legal fees incurred during their White House years. "We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea's education. You know, it was not easy."

You are clearly not reading my posts. I admit they are too long. I wouldn't read them either. But that is not all I said. Moreover, we are comparing him to Hillary. I conceded that Trump would be a disaster as a president. I cringe at the very thought. But I would still prefer his schtick to HIllary's malice. I have told you why. Many times. You disagree. OK, that happens. But if you are trying to persuade me, your approach is going to need more substance than claiming I copped out.

Yeah, but she's in the six figures, right? I mean she's gotta be doing pretty good.

                  • I'm with the Dude on this one. Hillary isn't in the same category as the other 3. I could vote for her.

My number one choice of those in the race is Kasich.

Because of the creep factor, Cruz reminded me of a kids show character that I couldn't stand when my kids watched. I didn't know the show name or character but looked a bit online and was able to find it.

                    Ted Cruz is Rotten Robbie.

I remember reading one of the comments from her aid after the Benghazi hearings, "Hillary is making a list of whom to destroy." She is malicious without good judgment.

                          1. Do you think the Bill Clinton presidency was a worse-than-trump disaster? If so, why?

                          2. Do you think Hillary would be radically different from Bill as president? If so, why?
                          LOL!

So because they are married that means she'll govern like her husband? Weird logic.

If you campaign for Hillary as JL is wont to, you have to stretch for something. That's why you see Bill trotted out at every opportunity. Fans of Bill seem to like him, and with age, they have forgotten his shortcomings. Thus, they want Hillary to be the Second Coming of Bill. Not in a long time would she be that, but Bill's fans hope for that.

Not necessarily. But married couples generally tend to have roughly similar political inclinations, background, philosophy, etc. Bill was a fairly decent, relatively centrist president. Just curious why folks think she would not only be worse, but crazier-than-Trump worse. You have an opinion on that?

Is there one post here that says she would be "crazier" than Trump? At this point you must be intentionally avoiding the discussion.

I can't speak for your wife, but my wife is completely independent from me politically. For most of our marriage we haven't even been in the same party. Moreover, no one, as far as I recall, said she would be bad because Bill was bad, instead I and others have said she is a poor choice for president based on her own merits. She has earned our opprobrium all by herself.
