I am actually impressed by how quickly Trump was able to back down the Clinton machine regarding their claims of Trump misogyny.

I'm not. They all have weak spots and Trump is adept and poking them in those spots. This speaks only to the poor quality of opponent Trump is facing, not to Trump's attirbutes.

You might be right, but I haven't seen anyone make the Clintons slink away as quickly as he did.

I have read a couple articles that say polling indicates as much as 20% of democrat voters would cross the aisle and vote for Trump if Hillary is the nominee. What a crazy cycle this is. And all the more unfortunate that Republicans can't nominate a decent candidate. Independents and a not insignificant number of democrats are looking for a way to avoid voting for Hillary.

If it's Trump vs. Hillary I have no idea what would happen. Common sense says Hillary would run away with it, but they are both awful options and there are several people investigating 3rd party runs that could tip it one way or the other.

No doubt. But it seems like they can't even get it right. Jeb was the establishment pick, until everyone realized what a poor campaigner he was. More serious contenders flamed out a long time ago. Now the second-string Rubio can't get out of 3rd-4th place in the polls.

This was supposed to be the strongest republican field in decades. What a joke that prediction turned out to be.

Were it possible, it would be interesting to see how he would have looked after eight years had he not been president. The pressures of that job have to exact a heavy toll.

Bernie Sanders could still get the nomination for the democrats. I think he's going to win Iowa and New Hampshire.

I also think Trump could beat Hillary. Trump probably holds more appeal with blacks than any other Republican nominee in the past half century.

Anything could happen. People predicting a Democrat romp are expecting Obama turnout. That isn't going to happen this time especially for Hillary.

I just with my boy Kasich could have gotten some traction.
