I just with my boy Kasich could have gotten some traction.
It could happen with Sanders. Sanders' numbers are surging right now.

The email thing continues to haunt Hillary. From what I've heard, the only reason that Hillary may not be indicted is because of a hopelessly politicized Justice Department. If there isn't an indictment, the FBI is going to be an endless fountain of leaks that damage Hillary.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

If anything like that happened down at our level in the military hierarchy, heads would roll, jobs would be lost.

Edit: We must deal with much more sensitive information than the Secretary of State.

      • Speaking of Hillary brought this thought to mind. I will grant anyone who wants to post about a corrupt politician in a corrupt system who is a republican, I would be surprised.

Hillary the champion of the poor and fighting for income equality makes me want to puke. Not only does she and Bill wallow in graft, they arranged the same for sweet innocent Chelsea.

I have a hard time thinking a person straight out of college with a Masters in Public Health is worth millions to a hedge fund. Her marrying the son of one of the partners of the hedge fund later, I don't consider graft. She probably fell in love. Good for her. I haven't had the time to research the claim someone made to me that after the '07-'08 debacle her FIL was probably one of those who belong in jail.

I try to put myself in their place. If I found ways to accumulate graftt money, perhaps I too would go out and chamion income equality, free health care, free college, etc. to ease my conscience.

          • I have no problem with Chelsea getting a cush gig because of her name. It happens. What annoys the hell out of me is her comment later on:

"I was curious if I could care about (money) on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t."

It's easy to not care about money when half million dollar salaries fall out of the sky wherever you apply because of your parents and you then marry someone who makes it unnecessary for you to ever earn another cent in your life.

              • I'm finally convinced that trump will win the nomination. His numbers aren't budging and we are only weeks away from the kickoff. Crazy.

Trump might actually win that head to head :godhelpus:

I'd actually vote for Sanders over Trump, as I'd hope that Congress would reject most of his Socialist agenda, but Congress can't do much about a President who embarrasses us or pisses off nearly every world leader. Of course, if Trump wins and gets Mexico to fork over a check for the biggest, most perfect wall ever, I'll sure have egg on my face.

Trump would call him a commie bastard and a traitor who honeymooned in Moscow during the middle of the Cold War. That last part really happened.

The first part is true too. I don't know about the traitor part.

Actually, the honeymoon was in the USSR but not in Moscow. And it was in 1988. During the Cold War, but not the middle. Given the fact the guy's 80 years old or something, I assumed his glorious Soviet honeymoon took place in the 70s or even earlier.
