It is the primary. Why does anybody believe their words?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Why should we not believe them? At least that's what a lot of independent voters are likely wondering.

You may be right, but I don't think what he said gets to the point of racing to the bottom. He might be saying that, but saying that you want to shut down the training camps of the radical extremists, is not radical in and of itself....however, how you do that, may very well be.

Extremely simple. Try arguing immigration policy, using all the facts PAC cited at hand, with a moron. The stupid wall idea won't die because it is so easy for idiots to conceptualize. Never mind that it isn't feasible (or effective for that matter) in any respect.

I know you're smarter than that. Just because we're able to point out a crisis or failure in another area doesn't mean we are off the hook for something like this. How much did the government pour into that shitty obamacare website? I'd say we lack for leadership and management more than resources.

Yet another report has come out showing that for the past 2-3 years, we've been experiencing a net outflow of Mexicans. And that's on top of other reports that show illegal immigrants are a net plus to the economy--I can't link one at the moment, but it makes sense given most provide services cheaply, pay into an SS system from which they won't draw anything, and pump taxes and spending dollars back into the economy. That doesn't mean we shouldn't have reasonable regulations for entrance, of course.
Experts have been screaming at the brick wall of the legislature for 20 years now. Immigration reform is necessary but boring and, most crucially, does not read well to a conservative constituency. It doesn't include a thing about any walls or dumb punitive measures against mexican/central american migrant workers (who are lured here in the first place to buoy entire sectors of our agricultural economy with their low-paid labor), but rather practical things like elimination of visa quotas for certain countries, creation of a seasonal work visa, elimination of the "permanent bar," etc. etc. etc. When the solutions are so clear and some tv guy in an orange wig whips up the red electorate into a froth with talk of a WALL... it's kind of disheartening.

They couldn't infiltrate internet cafes and mosques? I think you're writing them off too soon.

I, for my part, would love to infiltrate an internet cafe and see where the $ to stay open is really coming from.

This reminds me of some of the internet cafes I've been in over the years in Iraq and other countries overseas. Were there ever internet cafes here in the US? I don't remember seeing any, unless you consider Starbucks with free wifi an internet cafe.

When you drive across the rural south, off the interstate, you'll see lots of shuttered ones.

The words of politicians are for stupid people who want to be manipulated. You need to look to donors and behind the scenes to know what will really occur. Nobody should ever believe the words of an American politician, but we should look to the conduct and the names of donors to know what will transpire.

Government wastes money constantly but that doesn't make it ethically wise. We do so to pander to voters.
