I don't like Trump and I'm not going to vote for him, but I do wish all politicians ran their own Twitter account like he does. Hilarious and delusional.
I feel like this is the one election where any idiot could pop in and win. Trump would take it to Hilary's face if the election was today. You know how bad it is? Biden is weighing a bid. This would definitely be Mitt's year.

I don't think any year would be Mitt's year. The best person for the job would be one with great experience both in and out of government. Would be even tempered and have integrity.
In today's environment, I don't think such a person, especialy if he or she were a republican could get elected. The knot heads on the far right would sit on their collective butt's at home and then cry, "see we can't win unless we have a true conservative running".
Hillary, Donald and Bernie would continue to mess up this country.

That's true. Republicans have normally been their own worst enemy. And Ross Perot.

I'm captive in LGA Terminal D for the next 30 minutes and for some reason they are blasting Trump's campaign speech live on CNN. This guy is entertaining but about 75% of what he says is nuts and I can't believe people are seriously considering voting for him for President of the United States.

Holy crap. That is awesome. It's like the twitter feed for a candidate in a jr. high school election or something.

I agree that Mitt could not win in any year, although ultimately I believe he would govern well.
The two parties will do a lot to soften the hardest edges of whichever candidate is elected. With that said, the crazier candidates may nominate crazy people to fill important positions.
Trump, I don't trust him for one minute. I have not researched this, but I understand he has switched parties from time to time, and he has never been in public office. Business expertise is important but one of the better businessmen who became President didn't do anything to stem the Great Depression, Herbert Hoover.
Kasich seems like a plausible candidate who could govern. Rubio has many plusses but is very young and inexperienced.
Bernie is entertaining but can't win and wouldn't govern well. We want somebody with experience in Vermont at the top office?
Hillary really doesn't have experience, a one term Senator and an undistinguished term as Secretary of State? She has money, the Democratic machine, is old and is a woman. Given the demographics of the electoral map, that may be enough to win, but she won't be very effective. At least I'm hoping she won't because you and I will pay more and have fewer rights if she is effective.
I don't get the Biden appeal, but perhaps in contrast to many unappealing candidates, a bland average candidate shines. In my humble opinion, Hillary is the only Democratic candidate likely to win.

I still haven't watched one minute of Fox News, though I recognize Megyn Kelly from YouTube clips. But why is everyone starting to bash her on my feed? First the Trump supporters, but now more conservatives in general after that recent Cruz interview. Is she known as a more liberal commentator on Fox?
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Her style is a little annoying to me, but she I think she is a pretty balanced interviewer. This means that when speaking with "conservatives" like Trump and Cruz she doesn't just lob softballs, she brings up their controversial statements and positions and asks for a defense.

I like Megyn Kelly although I don't watch her that much anymore. From my perspective she is one of those who definitely can't conceive of her crap stinking. Maybe that puts some people off.
Also there are plenty of people out there who really want the rah, rah I am a conservative first and republican second like Hannity. She probably rankles them because she does ask tough questions to far righties like Cruz while Hannity is kissing his fanny.
When is the far right going to get it through their thick skulls that even their hero Reagan wasn't a far rightie.
I will predcit this right now, there will never ever, ever be a far rightie like Cruz and folks Hannity and Limbaugh support in the White House. So if they want more President Obama's they can keep on being principled and sit on their butts on election day and suck their thumbs.

I hadn't heard anything about it, so I googled it and it appears that this is the interview in question:
She actually conducted a really good thorough interview. I don't much of anything about Megyn Kelly, but if she conducts all interviews like that one, I think I would be a fan.
Isn't she the one who asked Cheney some uncomfortable questions about WMDs?
Secondly, the conservative right can GFI. Love that Trump supporter yesterday who shouted at a Univision anchor and US citizen to "go back to his country."
