I did see that. Not a huge fan of Borowitz but that was pretty funny.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Hillary received an email with highly classified information, the name of a human intelligence source in Libya. She received it from someone who was not supposed to be privy to that information.
She received the email on her unsecured email server that she said had never received or sent classified information.
She then forwarded the email from the unsecured email to someone else that may or may not have been allowed to received that information.
Clinton's excuse is that the email wasn't stamped classified like they do in episodes of Mission Impossible. I suppose the specification would have been impossible since Sid Blumenthal, who wasn't an.employee of the federal government, was the one who sent the info.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I saw the Meet the Press interview with Bernie Sanders. He does seem like a likeable old fart.
I may have missed it, but is there anyone on the board who would vote for this guy for President.
I am not looking to mock anyone. Heck, there are wonderful people in England, France, Germany and I am sure many other countries that are socialist.
I just think Bernie's ideas for so many free things is lala land thinking.Last edited by byu71; 10-12-2015, 10:02 AM.

Other than Frank who appears to have some real long term sentimentality towards the left and organized labor in particular, most others on here that find themselves in alignment with Bernie Sanders are like Leonard Bernstein hosting a party for the Black Panthers.
For others who read it, yes, this is fresh on my mind after reading Michael Lewis's piece on Tom Wolfe.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

What worries me is we have a substantial number of voters who believe you can have government services for free. Macroeconomics should be a required course in high school. If you don't pass the course, you don't get your degree.Originally posted by byu71 View PostI saw the Meet the Press interview with Bernie Sanders. He does seem like a likeable old fart.

The Democratic debate is on tonight. No Trump, so the ratings will suck.
It will feature the candidate from both parties who's the most unsuitable for the office, Hillary, and the best candidate, Jim Webb.
Jim Webb has no chance in tell at winning. For some reason the media seems divided between sticking with Hillary or looking upon Biden as the savior. Biden isn't even in the race and 2/3 of the country thinks Hillary is more corrupt than Nixon.
Why not push Webb? It's likely they know the SJWs who fund the party and vote in the primaries won't go for him.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Jim Webb comes off as angry and a little confused.
I think Martin O'Malley was the most impressive -- great closing statement ripping on the Repubs.
