Yes, I agree but it apparently wasn't much of a concern for President Obama in 2012 as he implied in the debate. He says being concerned about Russia is something from the 80's since the cold war is over. The dems need to make up their minds about the threat from Russia.

    • Trump takes a basic third world dictator approach to free speech:

      • Thankfully, the way it stands right now, Trump could win every single swing state pictured in gray on this map and still lose. And I can't see a realistic scenario right now for him taking any of the states in blue -- he's possibly close in Oregon, but that's it. And that only helps if he runs the table with the swing states, which seems pretty unlikely.

I dunno? Maybe when they invaded and annexed a piece of a sovereign nation? You know the sort of thing that resulted in aggressive US sanctions.
Obama's appeasement of Russia has been a failure but I'm not sure what that has to do with Trump colluding with Putin? That isn't incompetence that far worse. I wonder how many Kremlin politicians have donated to Trump. We do know he likes to solicit donations from foreign politicians.

Has anyone donated to Trump? If so he must just be pocketing the cash.

I’m pleased to announce the chairman of Breitbart as my new campaign chief, working alongside my top advisers Roger Ailes, Vladimir Putin, Emperor Palpatine, and the shark from ‘Jaws.’ ”

                      • I've listened to Trump's last two speeches and it's been interesting to compare his teleprompter presentations with his free-wheeling addresses. One constant, however, is his habit of declaring everything a disaster or catastrophe. With him, everything is a superlative (either best or worst) and it eliminates the possibility for nuanced views or well-reasoned analyses.

And why does he end his speeches with the Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want"? It's actually very funny, but I don't think he intends it that way.

                          • This is clearly the wrong crowd for this, but I'll share anyway. On my drive back from Cedar City yesterday, I was a little tired, so Mrs Diddley--the awesome lady that she is--downloaded some Rush to play to help keep me alert. Before long, Witch Hunt came on, and the words made me think of Donald Trump.

                            The night is black
                            Without a moon
The air is thick and still
                            The vigilantes gather on
                            The lonely torch lit hill

Features distorted in the flickering light
The faces are twisted and grotesque
Silent and stern in the sweltering night
The mob moves like demons possessed
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right
                            Confident their ways are best

                            The righteous rise
                            With burning eyes
                            Of hatred and ill-will
Madmen fed on fear and lies

To beat and burn and kill

They say there are strangers who threaten us
                            In our immigrants
                            and infidels
They say there is strangeness too dangerous
In our theaters and bookstore shelves
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves

                            Quick to judge
                            Quick to anger
                            Slow to understand
                            Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand...

                              So awesome. What a disaster.
                              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
