Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I don't see how you'll avoid it by not casting a vote.

Yeah, that place does not tolerate any dissent. I'll pass and reddit, in general, like HFN said, brings does kind of represent the worst internet people.

In addition, Clinton issued a statement in which she announced that Wasserman Schultz would serve as honorary chair of the campaign’s 50-state program as well as continuing as a surrogate nationally and in Florida.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

            • Nate Silver, who I've always agreed with on things, now says that Trump has a 42% chance of winning in November. If the election were held today, he thinks Trump would have 57% chance of winning.

Hillary, however, should be relieved that Russian Intelligence only has all of the DNC's email and not all of the emails related to the Clinton Foundation dealings. Those could really cause some trouble for her.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Lol. Sounds like something topper would say. Total loon, that one.

I would prefer none of above, because I detest authoritarians. Putin and Clinton are cut from the same cloth; they both desire power above all else, and will do anything within or outside the law to get it and to secure it. For the record, the last President I liked was Reagan. The rest have been mediocre to bleh.

                      • I think this quote from Palin says a lot about the current status of the GOP:

Conveniently, oppressors of this nationalist revolution found a way to save face. The obvious wall-writing told them they’d lose money and influence if they continued fighting AGAINST the majority, so the donor class scattered from their polarizing candidate when Ted Cruz’s suicide vest detonated at the GOP convention.
Leaving aside how embarrassing she was and continues to be, she was thrust into national politics with the help of the tea party wave. We've had a few years to judge the merits of the tea party crowd. Whatever noble constitutional ideals they had at the beginning, I think it is clear what they have morphed into; a low-information nationalist party. Palin and others benefitted when they seemed to be focused on constitutional ideals, and now Trump is benefitting from their more base instincts. And sadly, these base instincts are now in control of the GOP. If the nation is lucky, Trump will flame out and his supporters will see him for who he is and what he represents. But I fear that the GOP will be able to tear itself from this faction so easily.

Friends, by all means vote your conscience. I will not begrudge anyone who votes third party or a write-in. But before you do, take a long hard look at the current GOP. Is there any major policy proposal that isn't embarrassing to you? Does it resemble in any way what we have thought the party represented in the past; i.e. fiscal responsibility? Would you like for it to fundamentally change ASAP?

I know I would. I can guarantee a third party vote will not change anything, and we have Perot as evidence. But (and stay with me YO and MBN), a large republican dissertion to Satan herself will send a message loud and clear to the GOP. I can hear the clarion call now: your candidate is so bad that I have no choice to vote for Satan! Clean your house or I will continue to vote for Satan!

Hillary 2016!!! And maybe in 2020!!!
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."
"You are an intemperate, unscientific poster who makes light of very serious matters.”

No, you have previously said such things. Knock it off.

I'd sooner eviscerate JL and become a Ute than vote for Hillary.

                              • I detest Trump so much that I slowly move towards voting for Hilary, ignoring all the things I cant stand about her. Then I hear her speak on TV and she is such an obvious contrvied fraud that there is simply no way I can vote for her. Write in Mitt? Maybe. vote johnson? Perhaps. But I simply cannot vote for either of the two party leaders.
                                PLesa excuse the tpyos.
