Those of you in 2016 swing states like Ohio, Utah, and Nevada need to vote for Hillary. For chrissakes. It doesn't matter who I vote for; WA is going for Hillary. So I could indulge voting for the libertarians. But most of the rest here need to belly up, do the right thing, and vote for HC.
Hell, no. Pretty much every national election cycle the Church puts out a press release affirming its political neutrality and encouraging the members to participate in the political process. It has a variation of this language: "Latter-day Saints as citizens are to seek out and then uphold leaders who will act with integrity and are wise, good, and honest. Principles compatible with the gospel may be found in various political parties and candidates. Therefore, in this election year, we urge you to register to vote, to study the issues and candidates carefully and prayerfully, and then to vote for and actively support those you believe will most nearly carry out your ideas of good government."
I will participate this election cycle and cast my vote, but there is no way I will vote for either Trump or Clinton. Neither candidate comes remotely close to being wise, good and honest or carrying out my idea of good government. I stand with YO and Topper on this one. JL and SU can SAD for encouraging votes for Hillary.

That line of reasoning will certainly resonate with SU.
"I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

I know SU's dislike for the Church, but can he really disagree with the notion that, as voters, we want to elect individuals who have integrity and are wise, good, honest and reflect our ideas of good government? I would think those are universal standards for every voter to follow, but that's just my humble opinion.

Hasn't he already asserted his disagreement with that notion by encouraging swing-staters to vote for Hillary?

I'll take it a step further. LOL at SU and The Dude for supporting Hillary Clinton. I'm serious when I say I have equal enmity and disrespect for them both. If I were asked to cast the deciding vote on national television for all the world to see my ballot, I'd :finger3: them both and Write in Mitt.

I sooner commit harikari than vote for Satan incarnate. Hell no. I prefer to preserve my integrity. She is without a single redeeming feature or characteristic. She is Stalin to Trump's Hitler.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.
Thanks for expressing your opinion clearly. I appreciate JL doing the same.
I am actually have a hard time deciding which to vote for and your thoughts help a lot.
Johnson or Mitt. Neither of those fucked up assholes, Clinton or Trump. Anybody voting for Clinton has no voting integrity and should wash yourself in the river Jordan seven time seventy.

Slow down. People can even vote for Trump and have integrity, they would just be making a stupid decision. Knock it off.

I qualified it as "voting integrity." Voters who select Hillary or Donald are merely selecting a different version of authoritarianism. That is simple-minded, and selecting one or the other for strategic voting reasons lacks integrity, given how horrid each is. Ted and YOhio are demonstrating voting integrity.
