Its okay. I forgive you because that Hillary gif is perhaps the best gif in the history of the internet. And that includes back when gifs were just normal pictures!Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Was just perusing Cap'n Dipshit's twitter feed and ran across this gem:
Uh... Obama's administration has single-handedly funded and expanded ICE +CBP and deported more people than any president in U.S. history. By far. Immigration has been one of his greatest failures because he's tried to appease the idiots who shout from the rooftops to "enforce the laws on the books"-- guess what, dipshits? Immigration laws haven't seen any meaningful update since 96- (Clinton's woefully terrible IIRIRA) and it shows. Anyone hazard a guess why?
*edit*

I haven't heard anyone supporting Johnson even talk about supreme court justices. Johnson and Weld have been pretty clear they plan to be pragmatic and not ideologues.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View PostLOL at people supporting the Libertarian ticket because of the Supreme Court argument. Here are your candidates, on record, talking about what kind of justices they would nominate:

So Clinton has to be stopped at all costs, because of THE SUPREME COURT. Trump might be better, because he may be more inclined to nominate justices friendly to a republican congress. Might.
But we can count on those ideological purists in the Libertarian party, right? They'll nominate justices who will be sympathetic to the one philosophy that rules all libertarians: limit government intervention at all costs. Right? And as an example, they name...two reliable liberal justices.

Sorry Topper and others. I suppose they will still be cool with weed.
And like Weld said, Merrick Garland is pretty well regarded across the spectrum. He is mostly regarded as a centrist/moderate.

I don't have JL's search skillz, but ask Topper how important it is to nominate someone who will nominate conservative justices. And maybe '71 and UT.Originally posted by beefytee View PostI haven't heard anyone supporting Johnson even talk about supreme court justices. I don't disagree with you that the current libertarian ticket is pretty centrist. I've heard them praise Obama and say other things that sound strange for libertarians. That wasn't my point. I was trying to score some sophomoric points by mocking those who think Johnson/Weld will govern significantly different than the other two tickets."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

Team Hillary!
Democratic Platform says:
I just read some proposed legislation that was introduced to Congress just before the summer recess. Among other things, they propose using chained-CPI as the new index to calculate the cost of living adjustment. Since this would adversely affect my military retirement in a big way, I'm with Hillary all the way!We will fight every effort to cut, privatize, or weaken Social Security, including attempts to raise the retirement age, diminish benefits by cutting cost-of-living adjustments, or reducing earned benefits.
I guess everyone has their price.
