Then they wouldn't be hypocritical, just very wrong.

    • DWS can barely hold it together without completely losing control of her emotions this morning.

        Yes. I will.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

I just can't see myself voting for that blowhard to prevent Hitlery from being elected.
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

If my vote could effect the outcome of the election that I desired I would cast it for my preferred candidate. But father Pelagius has taught us that none of our votes affect the outcome of any election so in your scenario it doesn't matter.
                PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Everybody is thinking in binary terms, this or that.

If we engineered a proper third party candidate, and there is still time, Jill Stein for Bernie's Group, and Gary Johnson for the more conservative ones, we would be able to force a true Convention of the Electoral College and free ourselves from the lunacy of Hillary or Donald.

Think outside the box. I like the write-in idea, but they won't count the votes. Pick one where they do count the votes so that the votes count.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

This article/interview didn't get enough attention in this thread, imo. More insightful than the George Saunders New Yorker piece. I'll be reading the book.

Now I generally agree that it won't do a thing to stop either of those candidates this election, except in the sense that I'm depriving Crooked Hillary and Dumpy Donald of a vote they haven't earned. But I don't really care a whole lot about stopping them. They're equally horrific and this cycle is a lost cause. Evil won this battle but goodness can still win the war, so I'm much more concerned now about future elections. I'm sending a message to future leadership of both parties that giving voters a choice like this is unacceptable. I'm going to do what's right and let the consequence follow.
And I want to vote for the candidate who most closely has the qualifications for the job who is on the ballot. Neither Hillary nor Donald are qualified as a person or in experience. If I were forced to have only those two options, I would not vote, as neither deserves to receive a vote and None of the Above would receive my vote.

I agree that Donald is unqualified and the only place where he would be demonstrably better is in the selection of the US Supreme Court justices. Anybody actually contemplating Hillary is blind. She is equally unworthy and incompetent.

                          • With the newest trail of corruption following Hillary (deleting potentially classified emails, wiping away evidence, DWS in bed with the Clinton campaign and sabotaging Bernie, etc.) I'm really starting to wonder if she won't ruin the country as well. I get that Trump is worse, but she's soooo bad it might not matter. I'm still affirmatively in the Johnson boat and will stay there even if Hillary might take Texas, which she won't, but even if it was close I'd still vote Johnson.

She's that bad and that corrupt.

Good man. Once you're speaking about degrees of ultimate evil, does it really matter?

                              • We have two lousy people running for office. The problem for Hillary will be she has no trust with the American people. If she goes before the American people to argue for putting American lives at risk in the Middle East, a large population won't believe her. The whole democratic primary was a joke.
