He wouldn't be able to get that stuff through congress anyway unless you think there will be masssive turnover in congress this election, which doesn't appear to be the case. The party that has an outgoing president rarely gains in the congress, but who knows. Assuming he can't get a favorable congress then Bernie is actually better from a libertarian point of view because he would veto most of the civil liberties "big brother" type legislation that congress might try to push through (domestic spying, etc.) I don't want Bernie as president, but Trump would be worse because he'd be more likely to get his crappy ideas passed.Originally posted by creekster View PostLast edited by BlueK; 03-23-2016, 11:49 AM.Comment

We're going to have universal health care. It's going to be great. I can't tell you how it will be different or better than obama care, but trust me, it will be way better. Obama care is the worst. This will be way better and everyone will like it.
Tell me how Trump isn't a lot like Bernie on socialism, who basically says the same thing on healthcare without bashing Obama.Comment
