I watched Trumps speech/news conference. It was hilarious watching Christie. He looked like he was getting heartburn standing there and listening to The Donald. I dont know what Drumpf promised him, but it sure looked like he was wondering if it was worth it.

It is hard to be shocked anymore, but I guess the other day Trump claimed that judges sign bills into law. Are you effing kidding me? Words can't describe how mind-blowing that is to me. I mean, grab a random eighth-grader in any social studies class in America and he/she would know better than that. The presumptive republican nominee would probably double what he knows about the constitution by watching Schoolhouse Rock.

God help us.

Although it would test this site's storage capacity, there should be a thread of outrageous things Trump has said, multiple times, that would end the campaign of anyone else. In addition to those already listed, my favorites include a pledge to commit war crimes (bombing the families of our opponents), torture ("things way worse than waterboarding"), impose greater restraints on the freedom of the press (let's bring back the Sedition Act, already), etc. I also enjoy how his first response to the criticism of others is nearly always an ad hominem attack against the critic, usually consisting of ripping on the person's appearance, and often accompanied with veiled threats about something bad happening to that person.

Anyone remember Nixon's enemies list? If Trump is elected, imagine what he'll do with executive authority over the IRS and FBI.

Speaking who is paying attention to delegates from the Teritoriea. American Samoa did there democratic nomination tonight. They can vote for delegates to send to the convention and nominate the president. Just can,t vote in the general election. They even send delegates to the convention.

I finally listened to a Trump speech today. And I finally listened to a Cruz speech. I have to say, that Cruz is much worse than Trump. In all the ways that Trump is deplorable, Cruz is horrible, worse than intolerable. Moreover, it's hard to believe Trump really intends or believes most of what he says. He's the world's biggest troll and probably as surprised as you or I at his popularity and political success. Cruz really is a Jesus freak misogynistic fascist, in a deliberate, coherent, cold blooded way.

Fully agree with your assessment of Cruz. As for Trump, it's like we're living that episode of Seinfeld where George did the opposite of what he thought he should do and his life became amazing. Trump must go home every night and shout, "I'm bustin' Melania, I'm bustin'. Now get me some soup."
