    Exactly.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

When people get mad with a women's policies, the appearance-based insults come out (fat cow, cankles, etc.). I just compare the criticism of Colin Powell vs. Condoleezza Rice as Secretary of State. lol GeoArch, come on now, I can only assume you are speaking hypothetically. There are no women out there making any policies.

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I'm still in shock that she was elected so many times.

Don't forget Michelle. She was elected twice.

Nope, I haven’t. But I Googled them and found plenty that have women too. :P

One case of fat-shaming a man doesn't an argument make when you stack it up against, "Oh, the horror! She appeared in public without make-up!" Besides, it's more culturally acceptable for a man to be overweight than a woman.

As a female, I don't think being kneed in the groin would have that dramatic effect. Also, I disagree that BYU71 won. :P

You don't think history considers Eleanor Roosevelt a political force? I can understand your jab had I included in the sentece something about being elected or running for office.

However, I will grant you had I used the word elected or candidate, your comment would have been very humorous.

Also, the discussion was about candidates so I can understand your error.

Sorry, for some reason I didn't know you were female. The female's on this board add a great deal and I wish they would post more often.

Had I known I would have taken a softer approach.

Forget Condi Rice, look at the whole 2008 democratic primary. I never knew political wonks moonlit as fashion reporters.

LOL. No need to hold back just because I'm female.

                      • Is Hugh Hewitt trying to sell some more books? Something's up because this is a pretty hard push for Mitt to run a third time.

The tagline under the title is pretty persuasive and seems to be well-thought out.

Mitt Romney should run in 2016. He could win.

                          • Has Hillary announced she's running yet? Or is she still just thinking about it?

Also - I don't know if Mitt could win. But the more I hear about him the more I get a sense that he's much too practical and not enough of a politician to win. He would probably do a pretty good job. I think he'd be better suited to attempting to bring the two sides together to get stuff done. But he comes across as more of a facilitator/manager than leader for whatever reason. And 'Murica doesn't want someone unless they start by pounding their chest and making big promises.

He may just love his country.

If he loves his country he should support anyone but Mitt. America doesn't like voting for perennial political losers.
