There are no winners tonight. Although I think Biden might have lost the least.

Give the Obama Administration points for quick thinking: The campaign bought the trending Twitter term #malarkey during the vice presidential debates on Thursday after Vice President Joe Biden used the term.

Democrats will think Biden killed it tonight.

I have to say that the shit-eating grin on Biden's face during a lot of the debate seems like it would turn off independents. Maybe I'm crazy.

No, I don't think you are crazy. Based on the reaction of my independent voting friends on Facebook and their posts, I would say you are quite right.

I think you're right on both counts. Biden gave them what Obama couldn't/wouldn't. But I don't see how Scranton Joe will make anyone want to vote Obama/Biden.

Haven't watched any of the reported sideshow. But on twitter the consensus is Biden, scored an easy victory, and the star of the night is the moderator.

Isn't the only real mandate Ryan had, was first, do no harm? For those that watched, did he at least accomplish that?

Biden seemed a little too self-satisfied. Ryan seemed a little subordinate and wonk-ish.

I didn't think it would be, but I don't think this debate moves the needle much. It was a festival of irritainment.

I don't think this debate will be appealing to undecided voters.

Joe Biden is a carny barker.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I had to pause so I am on delay from you all.

Geez, Biden is acting like an asshole thus far with all the smirks and body language.

Ryan's close seems over-rehearsed. Biden had a stronger finish.

                                Still a draw.
