That's because you live in Utah and people have taught you to hate the president.Originally posted by risicam View PostRomney for sure. I will vote for Romney if he wins the nomination. I will vote for Obama if any of the other three win. If it is brokered and a new candidate is nominated I don't know how I will vote.A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

Romney is the republican candidate, unless he cheats on his wife or gets a DUI.
I thought I had never voted for a republican before, but that's not true. I think I absentee voted in Texas in 1991 for the man who destroyed the financial system, Phill Gramm.
I'll vote for Romney. Obama is a good man but he is not the right man for our challenges. It would be great to see the democrats try to come back to the center and retake the White House in 2016 with Hillary.

It depends on Romney's runningmate. If I had to pick now I would vote for the Libertarian or write-in Ron Paul like I did in the last go around.
Obama has clearly shown he was not ready to be president and still isn't. For example, the House's recent unanimous rejection of his 2013 budget proposal:
Hmm... not even Nancy voted for it? WTF!The House of Representatives voted unanimously last week to reject President Barack Obama's 2013 budget proposal, 414-0. The $3.7 trillion spending plan would have generated $1.5 trillion from new taxes over 10 years.
Maybe Obama should stop trying to interpret the constitution for the SCOTUS and trying to do their job and start doing his damn job. The guy is a total dumbass.Last edited by Uncle Ted; 04-04-2012, 05:22 AM."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

This is going to be a tough one to win with the press unashamedly in the tank for Obama.
The press beat on George Bush for gas prices. Obama gets a pass.
Obama said Bush was unpatriotic for having a 400 billion defecit in one year. Obama gets a pass.
Romney is a flip flopper. Obama gets a pass on all unfulfilled promises.
Romney can't get over 50% of the vote and put away his opponents. How many times vs Hillary did Obama get over 50%. When did he put her away. If I remember right, Bill Clinton got elected President with 43% of the vote.
Romney is weak with the women vote. How was Obama's standing with women when running against Hillary.
Romney is a gaffe machine. Obama's whisper to the Russian President and his attack on the Supreme Court gets a pass.
Romney is demeaned because of all the campaign "money" he is using. It wasn't too long ago the press was with admiration telling us all Obama is going to raise $1 billion for the campaign.
Romney is a rich man who can't connect. How much do you hear about Corzine and Obama (prior to the scandal) tabbing him to be the next Treasury Secretary.
Yea, yea Fox news and talk radio. Where do you think the average American gets their information from. It isn't Fox and MSNBC. Most Americans aren't political junkies.
Look the philosophy of the two men is quite clear. If you want to vote for Obama's philosophy that is certainly someone's right. If most Americans want to go in the direction of European socialism, well I support majority rule.
I just wish the press would present both sides fairly so voters have the needed information to base their vote on.Last edited by byu71; 04-04-2012, 06:49 AM.
