btw, Ted, if Paul were to get the nomination, at this point, I'd vote for him over Obama, even though I don't think he would win. But that is just because I am part of the 'torch and pitchfork' crowd. It was the 'torch and pitchfork' crowd that got Obama elected. Now we are looking for someone who will actually shake things up.

Not in Mormon dogma. He is a closet unbeliever. Which is one reason SU is a supporter.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

The torch and pitchfork crowd needs to stop expecting life to be handed to them and get off their asses and quit being wusses.

maybe you and 'torch and pitchfork" folks could talk Michael Moore to run. He could talk Nancy Pelosi into being his VP.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

This coming from a member of the finance crowd. There has never been a bigger bunch of wusses than the finance crowd.
