The victim is an educated idiot. Did he deserve to die? The jury is out. However, one of the first things they teach you in the CCW class is to be very careful how you engage with law enforcement when you're packing. If you get pulled over, you are to hand the officer your permit along with your license and state whether or not you're in possession.

This guy decided to engage officers while carrying, which is an incredibly dumb thing to do. As a CCW permit holder, he should know better.

I agree, but Kyle Rittenhouse doesn't. It had provided him with fame and fortune. The key is to direct your fire at protestors, not law enforcement.

From the videos, it's unclear he engaged with LEOs, he was assisting a pepper-gassed woman and I think he was accosted by the cops--i.e., they initiated the engagement (I'm open to correction here). I'm guessing even if that's true, it wouldn't make any difference from your perspective. I'm certain the LEOs and the Trump administration are grateful the cops discovered, after working him over, that he was carrying a gun, even though the gun had nothing to do with their engagement.

In one case the guy with the gun shot someone and was hailed as a hero, in the other, the guy was killed and is being called a domestic terrorist. We have no idea if his gun was even a factor.

Oh come on. Not everyone considers Rittenhouse a hero and not everyone considers this guy a domestic terrorist. Not by a mile.

Video of lefties in Minneapolis following these people around for an hour because their license plate is in their "Ice Database." The people get out of their car and tell them they are not ICE. They don't believe them. Then, the lefties demand to see their IDs. Yes...the people that are worried about Nazis running about asking for your papers are demanding to see your papers. Can't make this shit up. But tell me how these are lawful protestors.

People have already answered this question and it is in the news. They were sent to help assist ICE. The border crossing are substantially down which allowed for them to be called up.
