Harris had to make similar bonkers promises just to keep up.

All of this resulted in the comparably "small" $400 billion plan to eliminate some of student debt. That number only seems small in comparison to the fantasy numbers that Bernie and Warren proposed during the campaign.

Apparently your metric for crazy is broken.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I agree with your album cover change. The Song Remains the Same here, but this ain't no Houses of the Holy.

This is fun. It's like two terminally ill patients arguing about whose disease is worse.

How is that a strawman? It kind of sounds like you're saying there's no way you can compare the seriousness of two different acts if they aren't the same act performed under similar circumstances. Help me understand how this isn't complete nonsense.

No. And I haven't found her to be 'truly dumb' by listening to her talk. In fact, she seems pretty prepared, bright, and engaged the times I've heard her speak during Congressional inquiries, interviews, etc.

She is much more intelligent than AOC and MTG, for sure (that is a low bar). She can be quite eloquent, but often in defending or promoting some really dumb ideas.

I grant you that- people can disagree with ideas. I wouldn't call, say, Lyndsay Graham or Ted Cruz, dumb in any shape or form even though they regularly die on the hill of ridiculous ideas. It's clearly just politics and they don't mind looking dumb/corrupt. I just am skeptical of an assessment of her that pins her as 'truly dumb' just by listening to her speak, which is why I asked for clarification. I have never gotten that impression about AOC. I have of many other members of our legislature, so I didn't think my radar was broken...

To me she often seems like a naive idealist without much understanding of economics, and/or horse trading politics. She seems passionate about her causes, which in my own opinion are worthy, but she lacks a realistic plan of how to actually accomplish her goals. In these respects she is pretty similar to most politicians in that she panders to her base without the ability to really accomplish anything.

I don't think she is truly dumb

AOC is much more intelligent than AOC? Am I missing something here?

Probably, I just liked the juxtaposition of questioning her intelligence and then posting that.
