I hate Kamala Harris as a politician and candidate. I despise the gaslighting she and the whole democratic machine has been engaging in. I think they are unnecessarily divisive and their policies are anti growth. But when compared to her political foe... what even is the point of Trump and the NatCon movement? They are both offering government handouts to their constituents at the expense of the taxpayers. They both have stupid economic priorities. But Trump is a vile narcissist and his hangers on view vileness as a feature. The voting public is going to choose the same negative economic outcomes but also the additional vileness?

Just admit your guy got his ass kicked and move on. We were all able to see it when it happened to Biden. We all have eyes and ears. Nobody that isn't just a complete shill for the party thinks he won that debate or that it was some kind of a tie. Debates really are ridiculous. The format is outdated, leave no room for nuance and they give way too much power to a third party. If we insist on the current format, it needs to be modified. Like have an off-camera panel of bi/nonpartisan fact checkers that must unanimously agree. If a statement is shown to be a lie then the candidates podium drops down six inches. If they lie a lot then by the end of the debate they have to sit on the floor to access their mic.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post
I think a way better format would be for the two candidates to agree do to three long form podcasts with no time limit, but a minimum of two hours. Each candidate would get to pick one host and the third would be someone from a news organization. No audience, minders, or any of the theater.
