I don't see any other Democrat winning, and I'm mad enough at Biden for running again that I want to hang the L on him. I will probably mutter a curse at him while I am voting for him.

The problem is that most viable replacement candidates have 2028 on their minds. Why risk losing to Trump and taking some of the blame when it can all be pinned on Biden and you can survive to try in 2028. This current pressure is mostly coming from congressional democrats who fear a down ballot button kicking. No one really believes in Kamala so she will be the sacrificial lamb.

This is a great and realistic take. It's either going to be Biden or Harris. If Biden drops out, the decent thing to do is nominate Harris, her being the VP and all.
