My hope for the EC map. I actually don't care which island district, ME2 or NE2, flips, just want the end result to be:

I am only paying attention to this for the entertainment value.

Trump wins under this one.

As long as most trumpers are swept up among the poors (a very high likelihood), this will be just fine.

A guy down the street keeps tweeting that he doesn't care what a candidate has done in the past, only about what he says he is going to do. We could see how that is going to work out for him, his wife, and his kids.

Economy moving along excellently (was at D-land over the weekend; place was full to brim of people paying D-land prices), strategic investment in semiconductor and EV battery supply chains, at real full employment, inflation under control, and these dopes want to jump in with trump again.

Theyve been preparing the street for this for weeks.

He will announce huge tariffs, a bunch of his friends like Elon will get waivers, markets will shift downward, prices will pop 10% on existing inventory of tariffed goods, he will revise down the tariffs, prices will stay where they are, corps will continue to sell goods, stock prices will surge, he’ll say tariffs were the greatest thing ever.

What other "simple things" have Democrats pushed back on? As for voter id, there are legit arguments on both sides but the elimination of fraud is a pretty weak one since there is NO evidence of fraud that would have any effect on national and state elections. The biggest contributor to people's distrust is the cynical and false insistence that significant fraud exists. Populist demagogues like Trump are responsible for that. We have the most secure voting apparatus in the world (and spare me the anecdotal evidence of errors--with 100,000 precincts and over a million election workers there will ALWAYS be a few of those), but people relying on MAGAesque tweets to form an opinion about voting security will fall for the demagogue's cry.

Too many have bought into Trump's steadfast and lifelong belief that he has failed or lost elections, business ventures, or golf matches only because the other side cheated.That belief has impelled him to cheat anytime he can. We need to be rid of this chiseler.

If IDs are not required for voting then they shouldn't be required for everything else such as to board a plane, to rent a car, to attend the DNC conventions, etc.

As for no evidence there are many cases of a single person trying to vote or register to vote multiple times:

Officials in Lancaster County in the swing state of Pennsylvania say they identified hundreds of potentially fraudulent voter registration applications.

"Suspected fraudulent voter registration forms were dropped off at the Board of Elections Office in two batches at or near the deadline for submission," the board said in a statement on Friday. "There are approximately 2,500 voter registration applications total in these two batches."

And this is just the ones they caught. We don't know how many they did not catch. If you think there are not examples of cases of voter fraud or attempted voter fraud that would be easily stopped by simply requiring one to show their ID they you have your head in a hole.

The requirement of voter ID would ease the concerns of a lot of people and it is very easy to do. Any arguments against voter ID are dumb:

This equivalency isn't passing the smell test.

It is much easier to sign Tariffs into law than getting Mexico to pay for a wall.

Had Trump had the power, he absolutely would have pushed to get Mexico to pay for the wall. Heck, he shut down the government for a while to try to get Americans to pay for the wall.

There won't be near as much stopping him from getting the tariffs in place compared to the wall.

The largest contributor to people's distrust of the voting process is the push back by democrats for simple things like voter ID. The idea that people can't get a government ID is ridiculous. It is racist to argue that folks can't get an ID. Even African countries require government IDs to vote...
