I have no idea what any of this has to do with black history but as for the 2nd amendment ask these 1.5 million children how they feel about their country's gun control. But, nevertheless, you should give it a try... seems simple enough:

Three children and three adults dead at Nashville elementary school. The shooter was carrying two assault rifles and a handgun. I no longer visit CB, but I'm guessing they're generally blaming this on teachers not being armed. When is enough enough?

1) the US has a violent culture.

2) the country is awash in firearms

3) the country has constitutional protection for private gun ownership, therefore #2

4) mass shootings are a social contagion.

5 cops, *5*, immediately did what their training and instinct dictated. Compare that to the scores of hapless idiots camped outside Uvalde. This only sharpens the contrast and scrutiny to be applied there.

Training. Nashville PD obviously trained for this. I know many local departments who are well trained here in Utah. Those of you with kids here should feel comfortable with the response you would see in such a scenario. I think more police departments are learning from the good and bad examples of past police responses across the nation.
