Yes, it very much depends on how you define "mass shooting" and the time frame. I am talking high profile shootings with large numbers of victims or high-profile victims in the last couple of years. In my PURELY ANECDOTAL experience, I have been a little surprised at how many recent shooters were trans or trans-adjacent (Tyler Robinson for example)."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? I don’t know if the dude is right or wrong but any “mass shooting” definition that includes 400 shootings a year isn’t, in my worthless opinion, very useful. When people think about mass shootings/school shootings, they don’t mean things that happen over once per day.Originally posted by Northwestcoug View Post
I looked at two online sources. Depending on how you classify 'mass shooting', the highest count was 5 in the last 13 years. Less than 0.1% of the total reported during that time.
