I don't really care that Biden pardoned his son. They say it breaks norms or whatever, but end of term pardons are always rife with controversy and political favors. Not saying that the pardon isn't hypocritical and unfair, but most of them are. At least it wasn't the result of a financial contribution.

Maybe a little of both? It certainly normalizes immoral use of the pardon, which was one of my big concerns with Trump being elected.

I wonder if any county or state prosecutors should take Hunter to court to hold him accountable? Or were his crimes strictly federal in scope?

Sadly, this is where we are right now, and I don't think we are going back. Trump would have done this without batting an eyelash, saying only a dope wouldn't do it if they had the power. And MAGA would line up right behind him. This is just where we are in America.

I think I’ve said it before here, but I think the constitution should be amended to require Congress (Reps and Senate) to vote and approve all pardons.
