    Sadly, this is where we are right now, and I don't think we are going back. Trump would have done this without batting an eyelash, saying only a dope wouldn't do it if they had the power. And MAGA would line up right behind him. This is just where we are in America.

    Not a direct family member. Either way, showing that he is no better than trump is the point you were trying to make?

    Biden swore he would never do this - as a matter of principle.

    I think I’ve said it before here, but I think the constitution should be amended to require Congress (Reps and Senate) to vote and approve all pardons.

    It shouldn’t be as simple as one person’s whim.

    How politically motivated was it? I mean sure it started out as one but he was found guilty. But as to your other point, I certainly would weigh it and consider pardoning my son. But I would hope I wouldn’t do it after repeated denials.
