Maintaining the charade of a fitness program for six weeks was tough enough. Your creative powers are now in for their sternest test.

I thought I was volunteering for some one-day activity. we all get together, some of us show up late, there is a bbq and we spend most of the time talking and getting to know each other, etc.Originally posted by Jarid in Cedar View PostYep and I will be gunning for 360 miles.
I don't like the looks of that official banner. Where is the end of that road? It looks like it goes on for a long time. Also, is it me or is the road inclined somewhat? It looks exhausting.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

10% grade concerns aside, the banner is very cool. I am but a humble servant of my people. If they choose to leave the team name as it is, then let it be written that the people have spoken and the names will be immortalized in RATT history as it currently stands.Originally posted by beelzebabette View PostNext item of great importance (to me): Are you all really going to suffer the narcissism of SteelBlue & bluegoose without suggesting alternate team names?

Because it isn't for a while? Faith and I went for a run last night, did 6 miles including a 1 mile cool down (brisk walking). I'm not sure if it was the smoke and humidity, or if it was merely the feeling that the miles were not being used to kick anyone's butt (*ahem* I mean 'earn' money for charity), but I just wasn't that into it.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostI am quite pissed about the start date.
On a side note, I've had a number of students notice that I had lost weight, and my gay TA, in front of the whole class (after a student observed I had lost some weight) said that I was 'looking really good.' So maybe when I'm not running for charity (and butt kicking) I can inspire myself to complete that extra mile by thinking of how it will impress my TA.
