Good results. I’m down 20 pounds since January. I’ve stuck to intermittent fasting for 16 hours. And I wake up and do kettlebell workouts for 40 minutes every weekday morning.

I just extended the IF to 17 hours to try to slow down the plateau effect.

I still need to tighten up on my simple carbs consumption, but overall, that has gone much better as well.

Which simple carbs are you consuming?

I think he’s mistaken about simple carbs. I think boogers are more protein than carbs.

Saw this video and thought we'd had a more extensive peptide discussion here. Maybe it's just that my search skills are lacking.

TL;DW: Peptides have not been studied and so there is no evidence that they are safe nor that they provide any benefit(s). Several peptides were recently approved to be an available ingredient for compounding pharmacies. All the members of the committee who voted in favor of making the peptides available to compounding pharmacies have ties to companies/organizations that will profit from the change. The recommendation from the Science team was against inclusion. In spite of this new status, peptides are still not FDA approved.

I'm currently at my high school weight, which fluctuates between 145 and 148 pounds. Here's my diet:

No more than 45g carbs per meal
Majority of carbs are in vegetables or whole grains
I'll sneak maybe 10g of carbs in the form of dark chocolate or Hagen Dasz mini ice cream bars
I eat a lot of protein and I don't worry too much about it being lean or fatty or whatever
I eat a lot of chicken salad chick (Dixie chick ftw and the broccoli salad is very good
I hardly ever snack in between meals, and when I snack it's usually peanuts or celery sticks with peanut butter
I run three times a week

I wouldn't say I don't have cravings for sweet things, but my cravings are much, much less than they were in the past. I can walk past brownies, cookies, and any other type of sweet thing and not feel an urge to take one. It's not that sweet things have lost their appeal, it's just that I don't get the satisfaction from them I used to get. I feel healthy. The only problem is that I've had to buy a whole new wardrobe since I was at 165-170 pounds for a while and dropping those 20+ lbs took two inches off my waist. I basically buy small size polos and they fit great.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
