191, 14.7% today. I think this is the leanest I've ever been. A few years ago, I got down to 184 and was 13.4% at the BYU bod pod, but I look leaner now and I think my waist is smaller.

congrats to everyone!
I may be small, but I'm slow.

No kidding. I want to see if I can get a six pack just to see if I can do it, and then I'll probably go through a bulking period of a couple months (basically just an excuse to eat), and then hopefully I'll be motivated to do this again next spring.Originally posted by falafel View PostNice job Jay, but horrible timing. Just tried the hand held thing and I was at 6.5%. Can't imagine that's terrible accurate and I have no idea how that thing would even measure body fat. Seems more like a guestimate based on height and weight. At any rate, guess it gives me something to benchmark against. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

It said you had 6.5% body fat and you aren't sure whether it is accurate?Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostJust tried the hand held thing and I was at 6.5%. We have an impedance based meter on our scale. In my experience, it's way off, taking the pod type measurement as the gold standard. Actually, for me, the military method of measuring neck, abdomen, and I think wrist? and then crunching it into some formula with height and weight, was the most accurate. There's an app for that.

I think I pretty well expressed that I didn't think it was accurate. Like I said, I have no idea how something like that would even be able to measure body fat.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostIt said you had 6.5% body fat and you aren't sure whether it is accurate? So Russell...what do you love about music? Sorry not understanding your second sentence. Is the bod pod method accurate or way off?Originally posted by ERCougar View PostWe have an impedance based meter on our scale.
