Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
Everyone who posts in this thread loves golf, so feel free to go into detail about your individual rounds. In the past I've learned a great deal about my game from a post round recitation, and comparing details from round to round. After writing things down, you'll notice trends and problems that you can correct. This place is as good as any for recording the good bad and ugly about your golf game.
Is the new clubhouse finished yet? How's it look? My BIL is a 45 year member at Riverside, and a former Club Champion.
Yeah, club house is all done as is the main building. A very good upgrade. Some of the new greens are still maturing, so that will be frustrating this year.
This was a true practice round with multiple shots taking on every swing or putt.
Those are AWESOME. That site only has a size 12, I need 13 or maybe 14 in a Samba. I know what I'm spending the day searching the internet for! DT you are awesome.
So far only one of my players has blown up. Day is plus 4. First day though and 7 shots out isn't a disaster.
Can we keep Masters spoilers to the Green Jacket thread? I plan on watching on DVR after work.

I played for the first time in awhile, and it showed, with going 8,9 on the first two holes, and being 12 over after four. At that point, as I set up for each shot, it was as if I had forgotten how to play, and it was rather unsettling. But I finally got it together somewhat and finished with a 93. In addition to the long layoff, I think a pretty aggressive weights/running/cycling regimen has changed things, and for now it's not for the better.
On the plus side, the reason I played was because a longtime friend and client flew up from Rancho Santa Fe for the sole reason of playing a round of golf with me (I still don't understand this--most of my friends wouldn't rent a car to visit me, much less a Citation). I helped form his company in the '80s and advised it/him until he sold it for well over $100 Million in '99. So today he chartered a private jet, flew into and out of Livermore International, and said it was no big deal. After his second bad drive, he handed me his new Cobra driver and said "Here, this is yours, I've hit it for the last time." He's always been a very thrifty Welshman, but at 78 years of age and with tens of millions in the bank, he and his wife are finally living it up a little. He's not LDS, but is a big Romney fan and will be sending some bucks Mitt's way.

I sucked, but still had a great day.
Man, I really like you too. I feel bad I made you pay your half of the entrance fee to our member guest tournament. Wait a minute. You haven't made me $10, let alone millions. I don't feel bad after all.
